yesterday, men attacked a starbucks and police booth. all of the attackers and two others were killed. they say navigation error caused two navy boats to end up in iranian waters, the crew, ten sailors, were captured and held overnight and released on wednesday. secretary of defense ash carter says they have misnavigated and apparently didn't report the navigational error at the time. the winners of that record breaking $1.6 billion powerball jackpot remain a mystery this morning. there are three winning tickets. sold in california, florida, and tennessee. the winners in tennessee and florida have 180 days to come forward. >> we will know who it is when they come forward. the state law in tennessee means we are subject to open record so we will have the name of the winner and if any of you ask, we will release that. i can't imagine you won't ask, right? until they come forward, we don't know. >> the winner in california has

who secretlily recorded the group's employees. it shows planned parenthood employees providing fetal tissue. activists claim the tape show the organizations illegally sold body parts. planned parenthood lawsuit accuses the activists of engaging in a complex criminal enterprise to spread lies. the "detroit free press" reports michigan's governor is seeking a disaster declaration for flint's drinking water crisis. the water game contaminated with lead after the city switched the city's water source to the flint river. last night, one city councilman demanded action. >> see federal and state legislators get involved and give us the proper finance to fix our problems. it's been crippling us for quite sometime. >> if granted, federal assistance may help to fix the damage to flint's aging water system.

on the utility that owns the leaking natural gas well in california. southern california gas understated the spike in the airborne levels of a cancer causing chemical. the leak started in october releasing massive amounts of methane. crews are still trying to stop it. prime deal from amazon.com. a major settlement for goldman sachs. jill wagner is at the new york stock exchange with that and more. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. asian markets saw another day of steep losses after the latest round of disappointing economic data from china. shanghai com toss sit dropped 3.5% and hang seng lost 1%. stocks on wall street rebounded scoring biggest gain in over a month thanks in part to a small rebound in crude oil prices. the dow rose 227 points, the s&p gained 31, the nasdaq added nearly 89 points. goldman sachs agreed to pay $5 billion to settle claims stemming from its sell of mortgage-backed securities. the settlement with the justice department and state regulators concerned securities sold in the years leading up to the housing bubble and subsequent financial crisis. goldman is one of the last banks to settle with regulators. jetblue's website is back up-to-speed this morning.

services disrupted yesterday due to a computer glitch at a verizon data center. the trouble affected jetblue's major hubs, including new york, los angeles and boston and dozens of flights were delayed. there is a temporary price drop at amazon prime. amazon is shopping the price of its prime shipping and entertainment service from 99 to $73. the offer is good this weekend. amazon says it's celebrating its two golden globe awards for "mozart in the jungle." sesame street era on hbo begins tomorrow. and hbo will air the 46th season of the award winning children's show. 35 episode, including a new format, and some new faces. the episode have been shortened to a half hour. some favorite characters like elmo and cookie monster will get more screen time. the neighborhood is stiffed up and there will be an expanded human cast. >> it's weird. it's weird that "sesame street"

rickman died of cancer. he was 69. the song goes "i'll be there for you," but matthew perry won't be there for the "friends" reunion. fans got their hopes up this week on word that the cast was getting together to honor the legendary director james burrow but the guy who made chancellor a household name will be in rehearsals for a play in london. it was a lesson of a lifetime. minnesota vikings kicker blair walsh personally thanking a classroom of first graders for their kindness on thursday. they sent him letters of encouragement after he missed a potentially game winning kick against the seahawks sunday. he said their letters touched his heart. >> i'm here to tell you thank you from the bottom of my heart, seriously. that cheered me up a lot and for you guys to do that for me, somebody you've never met, you don't know, that is huge. >> walsh took questions and signed autographs for his young fans. there is more playoff football on tap this weekend. the afc divisional playoffs kickoff tomorrow on cbs.
