but it is all in her book. linda walked me through how her world completely crumbled. >> my life just fell apart. i didn't understand depression and my blood pressure went up. it just became a nightmare. >> as many as 21 million a week tuned in to the legendary cat fights between crystal and alexis. but almost two decades after her dynasty run ended, linda's downward spiral began when three people she loved dearly suddenly faced health issues. >> i had never been in a situation where so many people i loved were having so much trouble. >> what were some of the toughest times? >> when i was to take blood pressure medicine and i didn't like the way it made me feel. i stopped. and i was outside and blacked out. just blacked out. next thing i was faced down in the gravel and i just got up and my face was bloody and i oh, my god what happened to me. i realized, i just needed help.

the depression, linda wrote a book that she just updated "recipes for life." part cook book. part memoir. >> friends said do something that makes you happy. food makes me happy. >> there is even a chapter that mentions >> she had a flight with the blue angels. >> i ave to tell you something. i was so sick when i got off the plane. which i didn't want to admit to you guys. >> three years ago, linda was struck with a sickness much mor severe. a sudden onset of back pain so excruciating she considered suicide. >> i really understood why people said, maybe i don't need to be alive. because it is so painful to be alive. and no one had an answer. >> at times were you contemplating that? >> absolutely. i said, there has to be an answer. this is not living. >> cortisone shots caused her to lose her hair.

this is a wig. my hair fell out. >> linda has been pain-free after a laser procedure and her hair will grow back. >> in the meantime, i'm fine. it's okay. hiding is the part that's off. like we are ashamed of something. ashamed of what? that i survive mid back? no i'm a warrior. >> inspiring stuff. >> i also asked linda about her love life. she said she is happy and single. she also said if something happens and there's a park, then she's all in. but she is happy with her life. >> that show was shot right on this lot. a couple feet away. >> i remember. >> all right, thank you very much.
