>> donald trump is a phony, a fraud. >> we will build a wall and mexico will pay for the wall. >> i can stand on fifth avenue and shoot somebody and wouldn't lose any voters. >> donald trump is calling for a total and complete shut down of muslims entering the united states. >> have you even read the states constitution? i will gladly lend you my copy! >> i will say something that may not be great politics. that is that the american people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn e-mails. >> me too! me too! >> have you always told the truth?
2:59 am
fight for you and win for you. >> because of hillary clinton my daughters take for granted that a woman can be president of the united states. >> after all when there are no ceilings, the sky's the limit. >> i have much better judgment than she does. i also have a much better temperament. >> woo! okay. >> the people at home didn't understand you when you speak >> it's awfully goods that someone with the temperament of donald trump is not in charge of the law. >> you would be in jail. >> will you accept the result of this election? >> i will tell you at the time. >> that's horrifying. >> this is not the way we do it in the united states of america. >> none of us want to wake up wednesday morning and wish we had done more. >> if we don't win, this will be the single greatest waste of
3:00 am
life. >> don't boo, vote ? ? it is my high honor and distinct privilege to introduce to you the president-elect of the united states of donald trump. >> i just received a call from secretary clinton. she congratulated us, it's about us, on our victory and i congratulated her and her family
3:01 am
she fought very hard. hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time and we owe her a major debt of gratitude for her service to our country. i mean that very sincerely. now it's time for america to bind the wounds of division. we have to all republicans and democrats and independents across this nation, i say it is time for us to come together as one united people. it's time. i pledge to every citizen of our land that i will be president
3:02 am
important to me. for those who have chosen not to support me in the past of which there were a few people, i'm reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country. as i have said from the beginning, ours was not a campaign, but rather an incredible and great movement. made up of millions of hardworking men and women who love their country and want a better brighter future for themselves and their family. it's a movement of all religions accident backgrounds and beliefs who want and expect our
3:03 am
and serve the people it will. working together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the american dream. i have spend my entire life and business looking at the untapped potential in projects and people all over the world. that is now what i want to do for our country. tremendous potential. i have gotten to know our country so well. tremendous potential. it will be a beautiful thing. every single american will have the opportunity to realize his or her fully potential. the forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no
3:04 am
we are going to fix our inner cities and rebuild our highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, schools, hospitals. we will rebuild our infrastructure. which will become, by the way, second to none. we will put millions of our people to work as we rebuild it. we will also finally take care of our great veterans. they have been so loyal and i got to know so many over this 18 month journey. the time i spent with them during this campaign has been among my greatest honors. our veterans are incredible people. we will embark on a project of national growth and renewal.
3:05 am
the best and the brightest to leverage tremendous talent for the benefit of all. it's going to happen. we have a great economic plan. we will double our growth and have the strongest economy anywhere in the world. at the same time we will get along with all other nations willing to get along with us. we will be. we will have great relationships. relationships. no dream is too big. no challenge is too great. nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach. america will no longer settle for anything less than the best. we must reclaim our country's destiny and dream big and bold and daring. we have to do that. we are going dream of things for
3:06 am
and successful things once again. imented to tell the world community that while we will always put america's interest first, we will deal fairly with everyone. with everyone. all people and all other nations. we will seek common ground, not hostility, it has been what they call a historic event. to be really historic we have i promise you that i will not let you down. we will do a great job. we will do a great job. i look very much forward to being your president. and hopefully at the end of two years or three years or four years or maybe even eight years you will say so many of you worked so hard for us, but you

at the white house for us tonight, margaret? >> the crowd has gathered here, scott. the silence from the white house is deafening. president obama argued that the words hinged on this election and he was on the stump for his successor more than any other president in modern history. donald trump, a man he called uniquely unfit for office is going to deal obama's historic presidency a serious blow. clinton had promised she would protect his signature achievement, obamacare that has been damaged in recent months. she had pledged to undertake
3:11 am
environmental protections and defend that landmark deal with iran that trump said he is going to tear up. supreme court nominee doesn't look now like he will get confirmed. that will leave us with a split supreme court. trump said he will renegotiate obama's free trade deal with asia and other alliances and this will make it difficult on monday when president obama heads to europe to try to reassure allies that america will stand particularly considering that trump has made friendly overtures to russia. how is he going to explain this pledge to possibly start a trade deal with china? this is going to be difficult for the white house to explain away in the light of day, but president obama said before the polls close that when the sunrises, america will still be the greatest nation on earth. i think it's safe to say he didn't think he would wake up to
3:12 am
>> it sounds like and looks like there is a really large crowd around the white house. what's going on? >> scott, there has been a crowd gathering over the past few hours and it has gotten larger in the past 30 minutes or so. you have seen more secret service move towards that front gate of the white house trying to protectively get things under control or watch for any threats. you have a mix here. you have a matter and anti-donald and pro hillary chants. red, white, and blue balloons and sing the american anthem and other patriotic sopgs earlier. it's hard to in many wis pull through the gate exactly where sentiment is. it sounds just as confused as many of the political experts have been in predicting this out come. >> thanks very much and on january 20th, there is going to
