search is on for his killer. it started as a call for shots fire near twain anmd nellis. when responders first arrived on scene, they found two people performing cpr trying to save a man who was shot. a witness told police they saw a dark sedan leave the scene heading westbound on twain and then get on nellis. is are pretty common around this time of year ((sgt matthew sanford, metro police "this time of year there tends to be more interaction with public and sometimes that interaction leads to shootings and sometimes homicides. )) ((brian loftus)) >> there's still no word yet as to whether this could have been gang or narcotics related. this is the 153rd homicide in metro's jurisdiction this year... anyone with any information on this case can make an anonymous call to crimestoppers./// ((kirsten joyce)) it was an emotional final

alleged bullying victim takes the stand. two families are suing the clark county school district for reportedly mishandling several complaints. the lawsuit states in 2011, two students at greenspun junior high school were bullied by the same classmate in band class. the families say administrators did nothing to stop the harassment even after one mom wrote an email saying one of the boys was stabbed with a pencil in his groin. ((aimee hairr alleged victim's mom: my son was sexually assaulted and they didn't even call me. mary bryan alleged victim's mom: my son, this is the last place he wants to be but we both know that speaking up and we believe can help make ((kirsten joyce)) >> their team of attorneys claim ccsd violated the students' constitutional rights... as well as its own anti-bullying policies. but the defense claims the school did investigate the claims but could not take further action because the alleged victims never told administrators that the bullying was on-going. instead of oral closing arguments, attorneys from both sides will submit written statements to the judge.///

the driver of a deadly bus crash in chattanooga tennessee. five children died. 12 others are still in the hospital. 24-year-old johnthany walker is in custody facing multiple charges according to state records -- this is the second bus crash in two months walker has been part of. according to the children's elementary school four girls and a boy were killed in the crash. other children were taken to the hospital still in their school uniforms darvey koller/ pediatric emergency room physician: >> "because of a young age, many of them were unable to spell their names, did not know their birthdates, or even their parents' names. several said 'mama' when asked what their name was." sunshine today and temps in the 60s with some breezy winds today. ...... that will drop highs a few degrees tomorrow.... but the real chill comes this weekend with a system that will blow through with more wind and some clouds... and much cooler temps to follow on sunday. ............. highs drop to the mid 50s after gusty winds and chilly breezes stick around for sunday. highs barely recover by early next week./// carolina...as wildfires continue to spread in dry conditions. firefighters are trying to contain the blaze in watauga county before it gets to homes. there were nearly 100-firefighters trying to keep the fire away from homes volunteer departments also showed up - sending trucks to protect the houses here. the north carolina forest service had a helicopter ready to make water drops. for now the light winds are working in their favor. officials believe it's possible some of the north carolina fires were set on purpose. let's take a look at the roads with demetria

(nats of boys at table with yoly) adrian and eric are special...in more ways than one. the brothers and their mom were identified by myrtle tate elementary school for in-home counseling by a boys town nevada consultant. 50 hours of parenting and behavioral help at no school or the family. yoly was their consultant through the whole program: 11.53 when we got the call to this family was because adrian was adrian had problems at school. adrian had experienced some problems because of the divorce of the parents and trying to deal with that so there were some emotional issues. there were some scholastic issues as well because he had some behavior issues at school due to the whole divorce.
