overwhelmed with emotions, they were visibly upset and hurt about what happened. the shooting happened in the 2100 block of sunrise avenue... near fremont and eastern. police say a hispanic man in his thirties died from an apparent gunshot wound. a woman is currently being held by police. investigators believe she and the victim lived in the same apartment. they aren't calling her a suspect at this time -- but she hear her side of the story. the victim involved in the shooting has gang ties in the community. so they are trying to figure out if that played any role in what happened. another person on the scene was arrested due to an outstanding warrant. it's unclear if he is connected to the case at this point though. everyone knows that students don't do well at school when their home life is in turmoil. ((mauricio marin)) >> teachers already have their hands full, and even parents don't know what to do sometimes. ((christianne klein)) >> but boys town nevada is meeting that need with a unique program that integrates with the school district. dave courvoisier reports. (nats of boys at table with yoly) adrian and eric are special...in more ways than one. the brothers and their mom were identified by myrtle tate elementary school for in-home counseling by a boys town nevada consultant. 50 hours of parenting and behavioral help at no cost to the family. yoly was their consultant through the whole program: 11.53 when we got the call to this family was because adrian was adrian had problems at school. adrian had experienced some problems because of the divorce of the parents and trying to deal with that so there were some emotional issues. there were some scholastic issues as well because he had some behavior issues at school due to the whole divorce. 20.35 at first it was
