this morning ... nearly all 81 people on board a plane died following a crash outside colombia's second largest city. ((brian loftus)) >> many of them members of a brazilian soccer team... it was initially reported that 5 people survived .. but earlier this morning, a team spokesman said another player who was treated at the hospital, passed away. ((kirsten joyce)) >> hena daniels is tracking the situation. rescue crews in colombia worked in the dark early this morningusing flashlights to find survivors at the site of last night's fatal crash. the charter jetliner had stopped in santa cruz, bolivia shortly before taking off for medellin, colombia monday night. arrived. aviation authorities say it crashed in a mountainous area outside the city. the flight's crew declared an electrical emergency...shortly before the incident. several survivors were immediately rushed to a colombian hospital with injuries...and at least five of them survived. but the tragedy is hitting people in brazil especially hard. a civil aviation official says many of the passengers who died were members of a brazilian soccer team.

couldn't get service -nats-ambulances people on campus barricaded themselves in classrooms..moments after police say - abdul-razak ali artan (abdul ra-zahk ali-ar-tahn ) intentionally rammed his car into a group of people outside: (sot angshuman kapil, graduate student, the ohio state university) "i think i saw three or four students being hit." authorities say the somali-refugee then got out of the vehicle with a butcher knife and began stabbing onlookers. -nats/sot-(911) all patients are alert and oriented but severe university officer alan horujko (whore-rootch-co) is credited with ending the chaos: (sot osu chief of police craig stone) our officer was on the scene in less than a minute, and he ended the scene in less than a minute -nats-(name being read at graduation) artan had recently transferred to ohio state....after obtaining his associates degree from a community college in the spring. law enforcement officials are looking into a post he allegedly made on facebook shortly before the incidentsaying that he was sick of the way muslims were being treated. the school's president

front of this mcdonalds. what they're striking for is to push the minimum wage up to 15 dollars and union rights. >> the 'fight for 15' movement started back in 20-12...when 200 job at a number of restaurants in new york city. since then...we've seen some major cities like seattle and los angeles approve a 15 dollar minimum wage. and today...workers here in las vegas hope what they're calling a -day of disruption- will get similar results. they want to open peoples eyes on how minimum wage has not kept up with the rate of inflation. uber drivers participating in this strike won't be picking anyone up in several cities...including las vegas. uber says past drivers in their top 20 markets average more than 19 dollars an hour. but drivers say that doesn't account for fare cuts and expenses like gas, repairs and insurance. we know black friday... small business saturday... and cyber monday... now it's all about giving tuesday. it was first introduced back in 20-12... and its grown in popularity. in fact -- last year, non-profits raised over 1-hundred and 16-million bucks. in the first year, about 25-hundred organizations nationwide participated, but by 20-15 that grew to more than 40-thousand. giving tuesday... the goal is to kick-off the charitable season... you can give your time... a donation... a gift... or whatever to whomever. locally... a lot of non-profits are taking part including three square food bank... opportunity village... and the shade tree. it's really up to you on where you'd like to give. donations to those non-profits are also tax deductible. if you don't really know how this all works it's pretty easy... all you have to do is go to

bus crash in chattanooga, tennessee just made his first court appearance. a judge rescheduled 24 year old johnthony walker's preliminary hearing for december 15th. he faces 6 counts of vehicular homicide, as well as reckless endangerment and reckless driving. walker has been in jail on $107- thousand- 500- dollars bond since the crash that killed 6 kids. they were all between the ages of 6 and 10 years old./// ((kirsten joyce)) you go to make a call... only work!
