georgia, and tennessee. northern alabama, saw some of the worst damage. strong winds knocked down trees and powerlines - and turned some buildings into ruins. two people were killed in tennessee after a tornado touched down in polk county. that state is still recovering from deadly wildfires that have killed seven people so far. but it's not nearly enough to stop the region's worst drought in nearly a decade./// sherry how's the weather today? the dakota access protest camps are unsafe, and he wants protesters to leave. gov. jack dalrymple/r north dakota: "we may not be able to help you in an emergency situation. your health and safety may very well be at risk." after he ordered the camp to be evacuated monday, many thought the state would forcibly evict demonstrators. today's press conference was meant to clarify that. gov. jack dalrymple/r north dakota: "we have not at anytime, ever contemplated going to the main camp and removing people from as way to block deliveries of supplies to the camp. phyllis young, protester: "the governor issued his with threats of cutting off our food supplies. we responded by saying that is an act of war." the governor says that's not true, though delivering supplies to an evacuated area is illegal. us senator john hoeven took to the senate floor wednesday in

string of burglaries happened earlier this week. and the suspects remain at large. and looking out to see a cow staring back at you. that's exactly what folks just outside sacramento woke up to wendsday. police say the cows are on their way from oregon to texas... but somehow got out of the trailer they were staying in overnight. the herd wandered around town for a bit... before getting su complex. animal control safely rounded them up later that day and got them back on the road./// ((kirsten joyce)) police from down under got a strange surprise this week. a man came to the station in queensland, australia to report a possible homicide. he handed over what he thought was a breast implant.. he said he found it on the beach. he was worried it was from someone who had been murdered or maybe drowned. but it was a false alarm. turns out... it was a dead jellyfish.///
