((demetria obilor)) >> more than a dozen tornadoes touched down in louisiana, mississippi, tennessee and alabama .. all between tuesday and wednesday. ((kirsten joyce)) >> they're to blame for the deaths of at least 5 people. one man says his busins but that's nothing compared to what those families lost: (( smith: "it was a friend of mine's daughter. so i, i'm you know, greatly, greatly hit hard at that. so that, that's why my business is gone, no big deal. i'll uh i'll get it all together and re-start.")) firefighters continue to battle massive wildfires in the great smoky mountains. 7 people have now been killed ... and search- and- rescue missions are ongoing but many say their family members remain missing... including one man who says he cannot find his wife and two daughters who are just 9 and 12 years old: (( michael reed/wife and daughters missing in fires: she called me about 8:15 and said there were flames across the street from our house and she didn't know what to do. i told her to call 9-1-1 and that was the last i talked to her. shelters here, they said she isn't there...just hoping for a miracle." )) ((sherry swensk)) >> he says his home has been destroyed in the fire. thousands have been forced to evacuate.. shelters have been set up for those seeking refuge.. the flames have destroyed more than 400- buildings so far. it is now 10- percent containted .. believed to be more than 15- thousand acres.... that's about 25- times the size

((kirsten joyce)) meanwhile.. we've learned two more companies are also phasing out free parking on the strip. the latest announcement comes from the wynn and encore. they will start charging for valet mid- december .. self- parking will remain free for now. just days ago .. caesars announced they will begin charging for valet and self- parking at all resorts but the rio. the roll out begins this month at the linq and harrah's. however, locals with i-d will still get to self park for free. and on december 29th, locals will have to pay for parking at mgm resorts./// roads? crews are on the scene of a crash on westbound 215 at us 95 in the northwest valley. back to you!
