overcrowding at the woodbury county jail might be closing. supervisor jeremy taylor proposed closing the prairie hills annex because of its age... and some structural issues. 3 the building is about 100 years old. the county is paying me than four dollars a square foot on energy alone... adding up to over one million dollars in the next ten years. tataor saysysthis isn't only a wastst of money... but the cost could be uced for something more efficient... like expanding the jail at the law enforcement center. 3 "i advocated tonight that we spend a minimal amount of cost on something that is very viable and that isishe expansion of our law enforcement ceceer. we will either put that money into an expansion rather than the wasteful way that we're pouring money into prairie hills currently."3 the board unanimously agreed to spend 12 thousand doars on a study to find out whether or not the jail can structurally handle a new
