friday and saturday.3 3 good morning siouxland, i'm jacob heller.here's a look at your morning news. 3 two people are dead after a stolen car crashed into another vehicle on sioux city's northside.the accident happened at about one yesterday afternoon at 25th and morgan. police say a nissan altima driven by a 34 - year - old man was speeding on 25th street when it hit a out of a driveway. the two people in the durango were not hurt... but the driver of the altima and a 28 - year - old woman who was riding in the car were taken to mercy medical center where they died. the names of the two people killed in the crash are not being released. police say the altima was stolen october 29th... but they're not sure if it was stolen by the people who were killed. 3 and speaking of stolen cars... sioux city police say *five* cars were stolen or broken into yesterday morning in the city. and police say this is almost becoming a trend right now.a lot of this is happening on the northside... and in morningside. some of those cars were left unlocked...

and some even had the keys still inside. police say car owners can take simple steps to stop would - be thieves.that's all the time
