3 candidates chris christie and mike huckabee will be part of an different debate tonight... lindsey graham and george pataki were eliminated from both stages. the three *democratic* presidential candidates have *their* next debate saturday in iowa. 3 sioux city is asking for help from the state of i ia to improve roads leading to the new seaboard - triumph pork plan it's a multi - million dollar project that'll help improve traffic flow around the plant.the council voted unanimously to apply for a grant that would pay for most of the project. this comes after the city finished a 63 thousand dollar traffic study last week. the study focused on what improvements and changes would be needed

now.the community action agency siouxland's low - income heating assistance program... liheap... is taking applications.the program runs from november 1st through april 30th each year.people who apply and meet income criteria get help paying their heating bills.the community action agency says t t program helped more than 11 - thousand 6 - hundred people during the 20 - 14... 20 - 15 winter season. 3 less than a week after solid majorities of the omaha tribe of nebraska voted in favor of legalizing marijuana on tribal lands... the first tribe to do vote *yes* is putting its plans on hold.instead of going ahead with plans to sese legal maririana for dical and recreational use... the santee sioux tribe is planning to burn its stocks of marijuana and hold off on opening a marijua lounge on its flandreau south dakota reservation. the tribe says the plans are on hold until it can consult more with federal law enforcement agencies.

because of a 3 stupid mistake.sig 3 sioux city is asking for help from the state of iowa to improve roads leading to the new seaboard - triumph pork plant. it's a multi - million dollar project that'll help improve traffic flow around the plant.the council voted unanimously to apply for a grant that would pay for most of the project. this comes after the city finished a 63 thousand dollar traffic study last week. the study focused on what improvements and changes would be needed with the hundreds of people who would drive in that area

3 3 seaworld san diego said monday it would end the theatrical whale shows the park has become known for. c - b - s news correspondent ben tracy has more on how the park came to the decision. 3 (nats) whale show(narr 1) san diego is saying so-long to the shamu show. (nats) whale show (narr 2) sea world says it will replace the theatrical killer whale show with what it calls a more natural experience with a conservation message. ceo joel manby gave few details, while making the announcement on a call with investors. (sot 12;06;27;26 joel manby) we start everything by listening to our guests and evolving our shows to what we are hearing.(nats) blackfish(narr 3) what they're hearing has not been good. sea world has been under fire since the documentary "blackfish" was released in 2013. it criticized the company's treatment of its orcas and chronicled the whales' violent attacks on their trainers. in 2010 dawn brancheau was killed when one of the whales pulled her into the water and tore her apart. attendance has been falling and the company has lost half its market value in the past two years. former sea world trainer john hargrove. (sot 3:25:06) people can be inspired and not have to see a caged animal that has given up their life for you to be entertained. we've just moved past that. researchers in china analyzed dozens of studies involving more than 20 million patients... and found that people who took antibiotics known as (mack - ro - lides) "macrolides" were at a small... but significant risk... of sudden cardiac death. ( sot: mary rzepski/patient) 'i am now at sixty-nine much healthier than i was in my 40's.'thanks to medication and lifestyle changes she's reduced her blood pressure significantly. now a landmark study from the national institutes of health shows clear benefits to reducing blood pressure below 120 for patients over 50 at risk for heart disease. (sot dr.suzanne steinbaum /lenox hill hospital) ** with this lower blood pressure, there was about a 35 percent relative risk reduction of cardiovascular disease.. and that's tremendous.(brian webb on cam bridge)the study also found a 43 percent reduction in heart related deaths. in fact the results were so encouraging researchers stopped the trial early. currently guidelines recommend patients keep the top blood pressure number under 140. doctors say these findings may change that.(sot dr.suzanne steinbaum /lenox hill hospital) we really need to be more aggressive about getting the blood pressure down.. and this study is showing us how important it is.mary says with her blood pressure at 119 she has more energy now ( sot: the gym, take yoga classes, i walk an hour a day seven days help educate others. brian
