3 look for 3 look for sunny skies the 3 3 3 police in california are trying to figure out what led to a deadly shooting at an office holiday party in san bernadino that killed 14 people... and hurt 17 others. c - b - s news correspondent chris martinez has s e latest from san bernardino, california. 3 (pkg) authorities have revealed the identities of the two suspects they believe are responsible for the mass shooting at inland regional center.the pair - identified as 28 year old syed rizwan farook and his wife, 27 rizwan farook year old syed rizwan farook and his wife, 27 year old, tafsheen malik (also track tashfeen malik) - fled the scene of the massacre in a black suv.both suspects died in a gun battle with police...just two miles away from the shooting. inside the suv investigators found assault rifles and semi- automatic handguns.(sot chief jarrod b bguan of the san bernardino police department) based upon what t have seen and based upon how they were equipped, there had to have be some degree of planning that went into this.-nats- officials say farook, an environmental specialist for san bernardino county, left a holiday party held for workers at the center in anger....then returned a short time later with malik...dressed in assault style clothing and

3 when you think iowa livestock you think cows... hogs... and shrimp?that's what mike (hoik) heuck is growing near everly, iowa. we're heading to "the shrimp shed" for this edition of "proud to be a hometown farmer." 3 "that's around a 15 gram shrimp right there." and that big guy is just one of about 40,000 shrimp you'll find at mark (hoik)'s heuck's shrimp farm near everly, iowa.he calls it "the shrimp shed." "a lot of people in the area had never seen a live shrimp." so how do you raise such an unfamiliar creature...shrimp... in northwest, iowa?you start with a good habitat. "they're just a vinyl outdoor swimming pool is all they are." mike has 12 of those pools...he tests the water quality inside each of them once a day.and makes sure the temperature stays around 80 degrees."you don't want your water temperature to change more than a couple degrees in a 24 hour period." the shrimp come in as babies...and swim around for a few months here. "we're looking at a 5 month turn around." mike also has to feed the shrimp...that happens twice a day. "there aren't a lot of choices." he gets this stuff out of pennsylvania.the

religious liberty town hall event at cronk's cafe in denison.that gets started at 9 o'clock monday morning. 3 the parents of a former sergeant bluff - luton first grader have filed a federal lawsuit saying the special education student was abused by a teacher. siouxland news reporter jaclyn driscoll has more on this story. 3 kevin and suzanne gosch claim special ed teacher miranda riediger (ride-ig'-gur) dragged their child across a carpet causing rug burns to his back and shoulders.they're suing her... the principal.. and the district... for inflicting harm on the 9 year old who's been diagnosed with autism and epilepsy.according to court documents, on the morning of january 30, 20-14, the minor left his desk and laid on the floor and "began kicking his legs and moving his hands in the air" but did not make physical contact with students or staff. when the minor would not return to his desk after being asked, the special education teacher grabbed the student "by the wrists and/or legs" and drug him across the carpeted classroom floor. the minor "cried out in pain, 'stop, my back!'" the teacher stopped. upon inspection of the minor's back, injuries on his right and left shoulder blades and the middle of his back were found. parents of the student, filed a report with the sergeant bluff police department. the chief of

resource officer, followed up with the parents, but according to court documents "was already proclaiming the teacher's innocence despite the fact that an investigation of the incident had yet to be conducted." he also referred to the minor as a "handful" and said he "was like an 800 pound gorilla." after the parents filed a complaint with the iowa department of education, the teacher was investigated and founded for level 1 allegations of abuse. according to the administrative code, "a teacher under investigation for physical abuse must be placed on administrative leave when the level 1 investigation is 'founded.'" the district failed to do this. according to the district website, both employees are still employed at this time. the minor is currently being treated at siouxland mental health because of "serious emotional distress and suffering in the days and weeks following the parents are seeking compensation for the injuries and damages inflicted, as well as attorneys' fees and punitive damages."it was filed in federal court. we will be serving the lawsuit on the defendants within the next week or so. they have 20 days, i believe, to answer. then we proceed with the discovery process. in federal court we're usually looking at a trial maybe a year to a year and a half from now."siouxland news contacted rod earleywine, superintendent of sergeant bluff-luton community school district, who did not have a comment at this time. whether their job, is up to the
