3 as federal officials continue to investigate what motivated syed farook and tashfeen malik to kill 14 people at a holiday office party last week... authorities are eager to question the man who allegedly purchased the two rifles the couple used in the attack. chris martinez has the latest from san bernardino, california. 3 (pkg) -nats-thousands of san bernrndino county employeeee are heading back to work today.. just five days since 14 people were killed by syed farook and his wife, tashfeen malik.the environment health services division, where farook and many of the victims worked, will be closed for at least another week.federal agents are reviewing evidence taken from the home of enrique marquez...farook's friend and next door neighbor.while authorities have yet to question marquez -- they believe he ovided the two semi-automatic rifles used d the massacre. sources tell cbs news they're analyzing gun store surveillance video showing marquez and farook together.lorena aguirre says

3 time for a trip to the sunrise watercooler...these may be the clearest close-ups of pluto's surface humans see for decades, according to nasa.the space agency's new horizons spacecraft snapped the pictures in july, during its closest flyby ever of pluto.closest flyby ever of pluto.the black and white images show craters, mountains and glacial terrain along a strip some 50 miles wide. although new horizons sped past pluto this past summer, nasa says it will take about a year to transfer all of the photos and data.

3 thousands of americans suffer from strokes every year...and speech problems are a common result.siouxland news reporter kayla novak met with a speech therapist to see how they help the recovery process. 3 every year just under 800 thousand americans have a stroke. in most strokes, blood flow is blocked from getting to the brain.which can lead to difficultly doing every day things. this is when a speech therapist step in. "the first thing we look at is the swallowing or dysphgia because // 42 to 67 percent of patients can have difficulty with the swallow after a stroke."if a patient is havavg difficulty swallowing, they use things like tongue exercises to regain that function. once they determine what the patient can eat or swallow, they move on to communication.
