the u - s hispanic chamber of commerce was delivered in castro's hometown... the site of the country's first local hispanic chamber of commerce. julian castro himself wasn't there. he was campaigning for hillary in iowa. 3 speaking of hillary... both her and marco rubio were endorsed by the des moines register. reporter rose heaphy caught up with the rubio campaign this weekend in indianola to find out what he thinks of that endorsement. 3 supporters congratulated marco rubio at a campaign stop in indianola on his latest endorsement.the des moines register editorial board says it believes rubio is the best hope for the republican party and move them in a new direction.the board says his greatest challenge will be his experience -- his resume isn't as long as other candidates. but rubio disagrees.on the democrat side... the register board endorsed hillary clinton -- their pick in 2008.they point to her leadership as her strength.but they say clinton still has her weaknesses

3 this week london sees the opening of a stunning new are exhibit called "otherworlds" at the natural history museum of london. american artist michael benson used raw data from deep space missions by nasa and the european space agency to create vivid pictures of our solar system... all displayed with a sound track by composer brian eno. c - b - s news

3 there's an intense search going on right now for three violent criminals who escaped friday from a jail in orange county. the search area has grown to cover quite a few counties in california. as reporter (me - uh - ree - uh) mireya (vee - uh - ree- all) villarreal shows us... the f - b - i has offered a $50,000 dollar reward now. 3 (package)(natpop - sandra hutchens, oc sheriff, 09;02;07;02)sh: "we will not stop until these individuals are back in our custody"(narr 1)authorites say hossein nayeri jonathan tieu and bac duong may have spent months planning their daring escape from the orange county jail. sheriff sandra hutchens.(sot - sandra hutchens 09:06:58:09) "it appears to be a very sophisticated operation"(narr 2) the planning was meticulous, says sheriff lieutenant jeff hallock. (sot - jeff hallock)jh: "it seems that the inmates cut through half inch steel bars to facilitate their escape // the inmates cut their way through the plumbing tunnels and ultimately, gained access to an unsecure area of the roof. from the roof, the inmates rappelled off of the roof of the building behind me down to the ground. "(narr 3) authorities say it's likely they used bedsheets and other clothing to fashion a makeshift rope. as to what tools they used to escape, how they got them or if they had

the greater siouxland hall of fame... and the westmar college hall of fame. in 20 - 12... briar cliff named its home basketball court the "ray nacke court" in his honor. he passed away at his home in september. he was 79 - years - old. 3 "everybody who ever played with coach nacke will just tell you what a big impact he had on their life as far as making them a better man and preparing them for the real world after college."nacke led an overall record of 507 wins and 254 losses in 26 seasons as b - c - u's head coach. 3 one person is dead after a snowmobile accident late saturday night. 3 the monona county sheriff's office says the accident happened just before 10 - 30 saturday night in the 13 - thousand block of k - 42. sheriff's deputies say they found the snowmobile had crashed with an irrigation pivot....the man riding that snowmobile was taken to mercy medical center in sioux city where he died. 3 an author from ponca nebraska

city saturday afternoon.teri (luke - en) lukken signed copies of her children's book "i love papa and papa loves me" at cherryberry on hamilton boulevard. the book is a tribute to her dad... who dealt with a - l - s... lou gehrig's disease. he also teaches kids they can help others who aren't able to do certain activities... or are in a wheelchair. 3 "i do think this helps them see that that person is the same, the same person heart and soul. and the same person that they loved even though their sick."if you'd like to learn more about the book... we've got a link in this story on our website... siouxland news dot com. 3 and a photographer from sioux city is celebrating the release of *his* new book.well - known and long - time photographer george lindblade held a book signing yesterday at sioux city fire rescue's station four. the book is called "fully involved"... which shows behind - the - scenes... the inner - workings of

3 3 a lot of folks have trouble getting enough sleep.as siouxland news reporter kayla novak shows us...what you eat canhavea big effect on how you sleep. 3 just under half of the american population say they have issues sleeping 3 at night. mercy's clinical dieticians say that having a balanced diet can promote better sleep "so its really important to make sure you are eating several times during the day and just having a well rounded diet is going to help promote sleep too." you can start with choosing whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. some good choices for lean proteins include chicken without the skin, tofu and low-fat cheeses. "t"t to grill, broil l or bake your meats, and try to oid frying// ififou do occasionally fry, try to choose some more heart healthy oils, maybe use olive oil or canola oil."some healthy fat sources are fish, peanuts, almonds and walnuts. whole grains can be found in breads, crackers and even popcorn..

example, there are some breads that maybe appear wheat or whole grain but they may just have some carmel coloring that make them appear to be wheat or whole grain but they may not be." also be aware of beverages with hidden sugars and caffeine. "well it is probably best to drink y yr caffeine in the mornrng, you know, maybe a little i ithe afteteoon. but maybe by 2 or 3 o'clock maybe think about discontinuing that caffeine especially if you are very sensitive to it." if you choose to have a bed time snack, make it small and have it an hour or two before bed. a few other things for better sleep are exposure to light, excersise and a positive attitude. kayla novak, siouxland news.
