3 both (scuh - lee - uh)'s scalia's father *and* son will lead his funeral mass saturday at the basilica of the national shrine in d - c. vice president joe biden and jill biden will be there in place of president obama. 3 we know more this morning about the deadly stabbing of a sioux city man wednesday... after the suspect's first court ias wanatee was s 3 in court yesterday morning on a charge of 2nd degree murder. prosecutors say he stabbed the victim six times from the to the chest.a judge set his bail at 750 - thousand dollars.wanatee was arrested wednesday morning and charged with stabbing and killing 51 - year - old vernon mace during an argument outside mace's home on west 1st street. he's also been charged with aggravaved assault and d carrying a concealed dangerous weapon in a separate case.

appearance on the murder charge is february 29th... and march 16th on the assault and weapon charges. 3 a sioux city family is homeless after an early - morning fire on the northside.just after four a - m yesterday fire crews found smoke coming from a home in the 35 - ndred block of lafayette street. the people inside had already gotten out after their smoke detectors went off. the fire was out pretty quickly... but it did a *lot* of damage. investigators say the fire was caused by a malfunctioning electrical appliance in the basement. the home has been red - tagged by the city. 3 this morning sioux city *police* want to warn you about a scam being operated by people promising to do yard work.police saypeople have bebe scammed ree days during the past two weeks because 3 a group of two to four white men in a light - colored truck have been doing tree - trimming work in the morningside area. 3 they've also been going into people's homes and stealing valuable items after

homeowners.police say if approached by people wanting to do work... don't let them inside... and call police if you thinknkthey're acting suspiciously. 3 south dakota... governor dennis daugaard agreed to meet with transgender advocates and opponents of a recently passed senate bill. reporter brady mallory talked with those who oppose what's called *the bathroom bill*... to find out why it's so upsetting to them. 3 it's been a rollercoaster of a day for ashley joubert-gaddis with the center for equality. after she listened to the voice message, she called the gogornor's office back. "there's no liability on the part of the emergency rescue personnel on administering that drug which is designed to intercept how the heroin or any other opioid has affected

siouxland paramedics have used for years, narcan prives the individual of 'the high' created by narcotics.
