reporter: they are starting the hunger strike today. a number of people in front of that nativity scene are talking about that and told me moments ago they want more transparency. the protesters say they want justice for michael marshall, homeless man who wassarrested for causing a disturbance. four days later he was involved in a disturbance at the jail and deputies restrained him. the corner says he dried from-- died from positional asphyxia. the city says it will release the video was the investigation is complete but these protesters say they want to see the video now so they are starting a hunger strike. >> some of us are going without food, we're going to have liquids and juices. we are doing this continually until the demands are met. we know that there are consequences that putting our life on the line for a fellow brother, sisters in these jails
