finishing in fifth place in iowa, with 4.5% of the vote, kentucky senator rand paul has also dropped out of the race. the syrian peace talks are on hold with each side claiming that the other side doesn't want an end to the fighting. one thing is clear, five years of civil war has taken its toll on the country as video taken by a drone in homs shows right here. block after block of the city completely in ruins. once the third largest city in syria, homs has seen fierce fighting between the russian-backed government forces and the rebels. this drone video was taken by a group with ties to the kremlin. all too often mideastern refugees drown while trying to cross the mediterranean into europe. so, this rescue, 11 people off the coast of greece. this is especially uplifting they were saved bit italian coast guard. migrants died while crossing the sea. they came from kurdish iraq, libya, syria and other countries just devastated by the violence. now to that frightening
