a hostage situation we have been following in colorado springs has ended. the suspect is arrested. he is gregory beaky, 42 years old. apparently took his wife hostage on herrington drive. the contact -- negotiated with him and was able to come to a peaceful end. this mug shot that was released of him was from are apparently he does have a history of domestic violence. >> denver7, first alert weather. it's the wednesday before thanksgiving. denver7 loves you. handing out donuts and coffee. >> this one is about empty. i'm trying not to touch micht got in trouble for biting a donut and putting it back in the bok. >> that's unsanitary.

one in court yesterday and now facing a december 6th hearing. the eight homes will be evacuated around 8:45 this morning and is expected to be a temporary evacuation. . a denver grandmother is facing charges for allegely slamming her six-month old grandson on the bed. she was taking care of the baby and that's when she alledgedly became upset with the boy and the boy is said to have suffered bleeding on the brain. a suspect in the hospital. four armed men went into an off track betting facility in critical condition when a police officer opened fire. one managed to get away before collapsing.
