you'd be surprised how many folks you wouldn't know that had a mental illness at all. they've owned homes, they've had successful careers. the label has life-long stigma for the person who received the label. people do recover from mental illness. right now i'm living in a one bedroom apartment, i have two puppies. life goes on after a mental illness. in fact it can even be better. see the whole story at eachmindmatters.org
