that's why there's a lighter volume. back to you. >> thank you very much. today, governor jerry brown is pushing a plan for foreign oil. he will sign a bill to increase renewable energy at a solar manufacturing plant. the bill will require one-third of the state's electricity to come from renewable sources. afterward, he heads to san francisco to talk about the state budget problems at a conference there. oakland teachers will brainstorm their ways to tackle budget problems today. they discussed improving teaching and learning conditions in public schools but did not talk about financial challenges. the superintendent will hold a meeting from 4:30 to 6:00 tonight. they face desperate shortages which may get worse as

sacramento figures bigger cuts. a downtown marriott for sale. if you are interested, the price tag should be around $50 million. it's expected to get several visitors today. the panel of eight women and four men will deliberate for a third time today. yesterday, they listened intently and took notes as some of the most dramatic testimony was reread to them in open court. it came from kathy hoskins who said she was an eyewitness to bonds steroid use. it kept them work iing all day. >> juries like to take their time. they want to be able to present to the world they carefully considered the evidence, they

didn't rush to judgment. >> hoskins is the only person to have claimed to see barry bonds take steroids. >> we have a look at two sketches of one, possibly two sexual predators. the sketch on the left is provided by a student who said she was robbed early friday morning. an hour later, a man grabbed another student near the life sciences building. she provided the sketch on the right. unclear if they are connected. a man was shot in the neck yesterday afternoon. he is expected to survive. this comes after a number of drive-by shootings on sycamore drive, an area known for violence. sunday, shots fired at a home. three men arrested on april 4th. a man shot in the leg. later that evening, a man was

paralyzed during a drive-by shooting. state agents say they netted a group of suspects using another state's trash to get california out of millions of dollars. the state arrested five people in and around the bay area. part of a group that was double dipping. recycling cans and bottles that have been recycled already. agents confiscated almost $70,000? cash and bonds. they froze a bank account containing $8 million. christina says today is going to be the nicest day of the week. good morning. >> it sounds more authentic coming from my mouth but that's my personal point of view. i can't talk tech like scott mcgrew. the temps are chilly. you will need the jacket.
