good morning and thanks for joining us this morning. it is 5:59. seconds away from 6:00. i'm laura garcia-cannon. >> good morning. i'm jon kelley. 6:00 right now. time to check in with meteorologist christina loren. >> it's that time. we have very, very dry conditions, especially through the north bay. firefighters trying to get a hold of a fire burning in napa right now. 10% relative humidity. you can see why we have explosive potential for fire growth with conditions like this. as we head throughout the day today, it's going to stay dry, but things start to change tomorrow. cold wet weather moves in. i'll tell you when those showers arrive at your doorstep coming up. '6:00 a.m. first. let's check your drive with mike. christina, we checked the south bay because there's a new accident for 101 northbound at 680. this is the spot where we typically see the slowing start about now as well. we have that near the connector. it is not blocking the connector. it should be moved off to the shoulder very quickly. a little slowing 101 at 87.

a look at the east bay coming up. speaking of the east bay this morning, they're bracing for a general strike that could shut down oakland and a long list of other parts of the east bay. "today in the bay's" christie smith joins us live from oakland where protesters are preparing to protest in front of banks and eventually march to the port of oakland. how are we looking right now? >> reporter: good morning. i wanted to give you kind of a different perspective of what things looks like in downtown oakland. this is the look from broadway, what some of the windows here in downtown oakland look like. some in support of occupy oaker and this general strike. others are not. they've got a truck out here getting ready to set up a pa system. the protesters are ready this morning. we've seen them up. normally at this time it would be quiet. but they are up out here, they're making signs they would be using, taking with them as they hit the streets a little bit later this morning. now, they, of course, have the

potential to be one of the biggest demonstrations that oakland has seen in years. the call is for people to leave their jobs or school and shut down the city, march over to the port, protest banks and corporations. with this, of course, there's the concern that there could be clashes with police or even violence. police raided the tent setity occupy oakland camp last week. now the tents are back. clearly over 100 of them here this morning. here is what one protester just told me. >> most of us -- the majority of people here are dedicated to being nonviolent in this action, and they're -- we're definitely dedicated to getting and stopping any sort of violence that starts. >> reporter: now, again, some businesses have signs up this morning saying they're just not going to open today. we spoke with some workers earlier in the week who told us that they're not coming in to

work. some supporting this. some saying they just don't want to be here in downtown oakland with all the people who are going to be here and the potential for anything that might happen here. also wanted to mention that on the other side of the plaza there is oakland police internal affairs and the recruiting office. that is completely boarded up this morning. so folks getting ready. they've got a number of events planned starting at 9:00, noon, 4:00, 5:00. my colleague bob redell is keeping an eye on the b.a.r.t. trains and how that is looking this morning. of course people ride b.a.r.t. to get to downtown oakland. bob, how is it looking? >> reporter: good morning, christie. b.a.r.t. tells us they will be increasing security at four main stations in downtown oakland, at the oakland city center right now, 19th street, west oak land and also at lake merritt. they are anticipating a lot of traffic on the trains this morning. so anticipation of that, they will be running longer trains

all day, eight to ten cars long. you will want to plan accordingly if you are going to be going into your commute this morning using b.a.r.t. know one saying service will be disrupted, but perhaps a lot more people coming down to oakland in anticipation of the jean strike that's supposed to be start ag few hours from now. you might recall nos justice no b.a.r.t., this is a protest group proefting the b.a.r.t. police shootings. they planned to protest down here from 7:00 to 9:00 this morning. they ended up calling it off because they figured by disrupting b.a.r.t. service, this could impact many of the protesters, many of whom who rely on b.a.r.t. this could inhibit them trying to come down for the general strike. they felt like it would be counterer productive. if you heard no justice no b.a.r.t. would be protesting in oakland from 7:00 to 9:00 this morning, that group has called those off. jon and laura? >> bob, thank you very much. on the other side of the

bay, occupy san francisco protesters will stay put as they now have the backing of city leaders this morning. the board of supervisors approving a resolution to support the movement. the resolution asking mayor ed lee and the police department to not use force against the protesters. this was approved with a supermajority. that means if the mayor chooses to veto it, the board could actually overturn that veto. 6:05. police investigating a deadly shooting in the bayview this morning. san francisco police say they were called to fitzgerald avenue and ingalls street. they found a man on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. he was taken to a local hospital where he died. no suspects in cust did and no information immediately available. anyone with any information should call san francisco police. 6:05. to put it simply a wrong-way driver can consider himself extremely lucky after getting stuck on caltrain tracks. the man-made a wrong turn near

the east meadow drive train crossing in palo alto at ability 9:00 last night. luckily the on coming train did see him and managed to stop in time. police believe the man thought he was turning onto a street possibly because his gps provided wrong direction. good news, later he was annual to drive off. cal fire will know how many acres a grass fire burned overnight. the fire destroyed a few homes and a few other buildings. no one was injured. it started late yesterday near loma vista drive and soda canyon drive. they think some downed power lines may have started that fire. power is shut off to the area where about 300 customers are affected. christina loren has been warning all week long about the dry temperatures. this is what we're seeing. >> yeah. it's really, really dangerous. just one spark with conditions like this could lead to

explosive fire growth potential. so that's what happened in napa. the good news is currently in napa your winds have shifted to the southeast where they're not coming straight out of the north any longer. as a result your relative humidity has creeped up a touch. now at 25% whereas we were at 10% about half hour ago. still holding onto the teens. 17% in livermore. 11% in concord. it's dry as a bone out there this morning. that's going to be the case for the next few hours. windy and dry through the east bay hills. a clear start at the coastline. no fog to report. fog comes back as we head through tonight. your temperatures though with all that sunshine coming in early. we'll be comfortable, 76 in redwood city, 75 in oakland and 75 in santa rose sachlt as we head through tonight we'll see clouds increase, kicking the big dry ridge of high pressure off to the east. fog returns to the coast tonight. tomorrow the rain arrives at 7:00 a.m. i've got the seven-day outlook ready to go in my next report.

first let's get you out to mike inouye. >> fremont, southbound 880 at mowery, scrap metal in the many middle two lanes. folks are swerving around that. that's the reason for the slowing heading toward mowery. be prepared for that. 580, the altamont pass starts the slowing because of the vol tomb of traffic. a 20-minute drive toward the dublin interchange. let's get a look at traffic as it starts to stack up in the cash lanes. fast track lanes still no problem. a 19-minute drive off the carcinas bridge. 6:08 right now. coming up on today in the bay, the first u.s. troops to pull out of iraq are up in the air. and san jose's mayor is sending a strong message to medical marijuana advocates. you want to fight for your pot clubs? then get ready to pay more than $1 million.

welcome back everyone. taking a live look outside in the south bay this morning. changes when it comes to the forecast, the weather. finally feeling fall. 6:11 right now. in san jose voters could decide the fate of pot clubs, but a plan to tax those clubs to pay for the election is certainly stirring up a lot of controversy. "today in the bay's" marla tellez joins us live in san jose with an update.

good morning. >> reporter: good morning. this is certainly becoming an ongoing issue here at city hall between the city and medical marijuana collectives. just yesterday, in fact, i want to show you that mayor chuck reed sent out this memo dated november 1st to the rules in oakland government committee about increasing the marijuana business tax. now, it was just last week the medical marijuana regulations approved by the city council were to take effect. this meant all but ten of the city's more than 100 pot clinics were to shutdown. of course, this is not good news for the pot club owners. on friday the club submitted a megs with more than. all they needed were more like 30,000. once the referendum petitions were certified, the council will decide whether to repeal the new regulations altogether or put

this issue in the hands of the voters. assuming the issue ends up on a ballot, mayor reed wants the city council to raise the tax on the collectives from seven to ten percent to pay for a city wide vote on whether to repeal the pot regulations. reedest maths it will cost more than $1 million and that's money the city doesn't have as it deals with a deficit for the 11th year in a row. pro points say a tax hike will end up hurting if patients who use the drug for cancer or other illnesses. back at city hall -- i'm not sure if you can hear the gentleman behind me. he's been yelling through out my report in regards to the occupy protests. bottom line, mayor reed says you did your homework, you got enough signatures. if you want that election, you have to pay for it. the city council is going to draft this issue or talk about this issue once again one week

from today. laura and jon? >> thank you very much, marla. it's been a long time coming, the u.s. troop withdrawal from iraq is under way this morning as we speak. soldiers stationed at a base west of bagdad packed into buses where they will be flown home. all forces will be out by this coming january ending eight long years of involvement. negotiations broke down with the iraqi government to keep thousands behind after january. the u.s. will keep troops in several other middle east countries. the founder of wikileaks may soon be extradited to sweden. a london court ruled jewel jan assange should be sent to sweden to be questioned over the alleged rape and molestation of two women last year. the 40-year-old denies the charges and say it is case is politically motivated over his secret-spilling organization. it's not clear if assange will have the right to take his case

to the supreme court. >> beginning to look a lot like fall outside. >> almost like winter tomorrow. >> really? >> you know what, it's been a while since we've had sipping any can't rainfall. i'm the bearer of great news this morning. i can tell you we'll get one more day, our short-lived indian summer coming to a crashing halt. today enjoy a crystal clear start at the coastline. it is dry through the east bay and north bay hills. we still have the red flag warning in place until 9:00 a.m. national weather service was prompted to extend the warning because it's so dry out there. the winds haven't relaxed that much just yet. as we head through mid morning hours, they will start to relax. 43 degrees right now in santa rosa. 55 in san mateo and 55 to start out in san francisco. winds still gusting out of the north at 20 miles per hour sustained in fairfield. we have calm wintsds along the peninsula. the winds are starting the shift in napa out of the southeast. better humidity readings through napa right now where the fire is

still burning. 20% in oakland. that's it. 11% in concord. because we're located so close to the pacific ocean, traditionally our relative humidities at this time of the morning are in the 80% to 90% range. it's very dry out there. make sure you keep that in mind. when you take that steaming shower, your window or mirror won't fog up which is nice. 52 at 7:00 a.m. inland, about 75 degrees as you make your way home. no need for the ac or the heater today if you're touch. as high pressure continues to push the marine layer out, area of low pressure slides in tonight. it will be mostly cloudy to start. the fog will roll back in. the showers time out like this. we stop the clock at 7:00 a.m. you can see the first band of rain moving through north bay. by noon, the greater bay area getting a good amount of rainfall. by 3:00 p.m., the showers move into the south bay. after that, on and off residual

showers lasting through about 11:00 p.m. thursday. you can see that yellow over santa cruz, an indication of moderate rain over mt. hamilton. snow levelwill come down to about 3,000 feet. that means a dusting of snow on top of mt. hamilton is likely as we head into this weekend. we'll go from bone dry, warmer-than-average conditions to a winter-like scenario. on and off showers lasting through sunday. don't forget we fall back sunday at 2:00 a.m. let's check your drive. >> a lot going on weather wise. we have slowing for southbound 880 continuing. scrap metal in the lanes. our friend jason sends folks are swerving to get around it right around maoowery. northbound speed sensors showing an easy drive. accident, northbound 101 near the 880 interchange, it's over

on the shoulder and slowing around 87 for both directions. the volume is building here. 880 we'll get a look at the area past the coliseum a. smooth drive north towards the coliseum. you're about 15 minutes from san leanne draw towards the bay bridge toll plaza. southbound equally as smooth coming through oakland. there's the bay bridge toll plaza, metering lights turned on minutes ago and quickly filling up the fast track lanes back to the 880 over crossing. still a 19 to-20 minute drive headed to this crowded spot. back to you. thank you very much. when you thought there was a little relief coming, analysts say you should expect bank of america and other banks to raise fees after dropping a $5.00 debit card fee. the fee was supposed to go into effect in january. bank of america announced yesterday it's dropping those plans. analysts, however, say now expect the balancing effect. banks to eliminate free checking accounts and raise interest rates on credit cards. it is 6:18 right now. safe way will not press charges

against a former monterey couple accused of shoplifting sandwiches. honolulu police arrested a couple when a security guard accused they have of taking the two sandwiches worth $5.00. the couple says they ate the food while they shopped and forgot to pay. the case caused outrage because police took the couple's 3-year-old daughter into protective custody. the safe way spokesperson says they didn't know the girl would be taken away and the family is not saying if they will pursue a civil suit against safe way. 6:19 right now. lawmakers in the u.s. house voting to reaffirm "in god we trust" as the motto. the final vote 396-9. the resolution encourages public displays of the national motto in all public buildings, schools and other government institutions. it is 6:19 right now. coming up, a city administrator sparked outrage when the public

welcome back. 6:23 right now. the giants rivals up for sale. last night the l.a. dodgers agreed to a court supervised sale of the team. the dodgers filed for bankruptcy protection after a dispute between owner frank mccourt and major league baseball commissioner bud selig. the new owner will be the third since the o'malley family sold the team top news corp. back in 1998. a man fired for making $800,000 a year as a city administrator is suing for back wages. robert rizzo says the city of belle near los angeles breached his contract when it fired him in july of 2010. the salary and the outrage in belle made national headlines that summer.

rizzo's suit says the city didn't have cause to fight him. he along with several other belle city officials say it's charges for the misappropriation of city funds. as we reported occupy protesters planning to march on the busy port of oakland late tore day. why the port? here is scott mcgrew. >> the average longshoreman probably doesn't have much in common with the protesters. some dock workers are willing to work, but that has nothing to do with the occupy movement. why are occupiers headed to the port? the first reason may be simply very busy and blocking the port is disruptive. the second may be strategic. "the l.a. times" points out port workers has a special clause in their contract that let's them stay away from work but not be considered on strike if they have to cross community pickett lines. lots of unions honor other union's picket lines. in the longshoreman's case, in

their contract a picket line is a picket line. members of the international longshore warehouse union, not the downtrodden. the average cargo unloader in oakland makes more than $100,000 a year. a longshoreman who tracks cargo but doesn't unload it gets more. the fed has come under krunder criticism will announce latest moves to save the economy. the fed probably will just say steady as she goes. fed chairman ben bernanke will hold a press conference later this afternoon. occupiers have been very outspoken to how the fed bailed out the banks. bernanke said he did it to prevent a total meltdown of the american economy. that appears to have worked. we'll hear more about what he has to say and whether he'll address the occupy movement

uncertain day. good morning, bob. >> reporter: to prepare for that, good morning, jon, b.a.r.t. is going to be running longer trains all day long, eight to ten cars long because they're expecting more traffic on b.a.r.t. today in anticipation of people coming to downtown oakland to participate in the strike. they're beefing up security at four downtown stations, this wunl here, oakland city, 19th street, west oak land and lake merritt. you might have heard there was a protest planned at 7:00 to 9:00 this morning to protest against recent b.a.r.t. police shootings and to show their solidarity with the general strike that's supposed to be taking place later today. they have since canceled that protest. the reason being is that they figured if they're going to be disrupting service that might be counterproductive because many of the people protesting rely on b.a.r.t. and it would be difficult for them to participate in the general

strike. they have called off that general protest that was going to be taking place from 7:00 to 9:00 this morning. b.a.r.t. says they are prepared. they have anticipated larger numbers of people coming out. that's why they're running the longer trains and beefing up security at the four stations i mentioned. as far as the general strike, we understand the first action planned for a couple hours from now. we'll go back up to street side where my colleague christie smith is right now. >> reporter: good morning to you. the first action starting at 9:00 this morning. i wanted to show you one of the buildings here at 14th and broadway. solidarity 99%. we've seen others saying that they support the general strike. over here they've got a group setting up a pa system. they're expecting quite a few people. i spoke with another cafe owner who says he really can't close to day because he can't afford it given all that's going on. i wanted to show you over here, this is a little bit of what the

frank ogawa plaza looks like this morning. normally you see nothing going on. we've seen quite a few people out here making signs getting ready for this. and more demonstrators are showing up this morning ready for this general strike that has the potential to be one of the largest demonstrations that oakland has seen in years. this, of course, over financial inequality. the call is for people to leave their jobs and schools and shut down the city, shut down downtown oakland, the port, banks and corporations. the tent city encampment was raided last week by police. now the plaza is back, packed just like it was before with tents. there is a potential, of course, for a clash with police. protesters are telling us this morning that they plan to keep a short leash on any demonstrators who might get out of hand. everyone here saying they are really hoping that it's piece. . again, everything getting started at 9:00.

quite a few things going on. they have a number of demonstrations planned at 9:00, noon and 5:00. a busy day in downtown oakland. reporting live in oakland, i'm christie smith. i'll send it back to you guys in san jose. >> thank you very much, christie. fire investigators are trying to figure out what blew the walls off a richmond home. we showed you this video yesterday of a tilted home only ohio avenue. firefighters say something was leaking in the home and the vap pers built up, eventually causing that explosion. the trouble is they don't know what that leak was. pg&e checked the gas lines and they say they didn't play a part. three people were in the home at the time, but they are expected to be okay. >> updating a story with good news. angelina and angelica sabuca recovering nicely this morning. a team of more than 20 physicians at lucille packard

hospital spent nine hours separating the girls. they separated the twins' livers, diaphragms, chest and abdominal wall muscles. angelina and angelica overcame steed odds. most conjoined twins never survive pregnancy. only about a quarter of those born actually end up surviving. you can watch our entire interview with the doctors and the twins' mother. we posted the raw video on the website, nbcbayarea.com. just search con joined twins. a san francisco state university professor is apologizing for starting a rumor of a big earthquake striking berkeley in the next few weeks. professor genie stours wrote the apology to a brkly council member on monday. stours originally sent an e-mail to family and friends predicting a magnitude 6.0 quake will hit after a recent swarm of smaller tremors.

geologists were consulting with city council members and then it started making the rounds over the internet forcing city leaders to sent out their owners mail saying no meeting took place and geologists are not in the business of making predictions. here to help us get over the wednesday hump is christina loren to predict everything we have going on outside. >> kind of a tough one to predict. we've got a lot happening out there. sustained winds out at 20 miles per hour out of the north in fairfield, the red flag warning extended until 9:00 a.m. this morning. these winds are still puchling from land to sea warming up on the way which is actually keeping your temperatures a little on the mild side this morning in places like san jose, even san francisco. we're at about 60 degrees a few moments ago. sunrise this morning at about 7:36. 20%. that's it when it comes to relative humidity in the city of oakland located right on the water. very rare to have your relative humidities this bone dry. as we head through the day today

we'll see offshore flow for the first part of the day. windy, dry conditions will continue and clear the coastline. then things start to change. 79 degrees today in gilroy. we have a strong winter storm that is slated to pound us as we head through tomorrow. we'll take you through that forecast. things will dramatically change. first let's check your drive with mike. >> christina, we've seen a change here due to an accident in northbound 880 just off 238 affecting the castro valley y. nearby castro valley boulevard we also have an accident just off 580. that may present an issue as folks get off the freeway and head off to city streets, just off of 580 itself. out to the peninsula, in to san mateo from the south or the north, at the limit, a smooth drive for 101. 280 not a problem either. a live look at the golden gate bridge, a pleasant drive from the north bay into the city, an easy drive heading out of the

welcome back everyone. look at that. back up on the bay bridge. looks like the metering lights are on this morning. 6:44 right now. >> history could be made on san francisco's ocean beach this morning at the rip curl pro search. surfing great kelly slater, big time fan favorite. he could clinch his 11th world title. slater holds the record for the youngest person to win the title at 20 years old and the oldest to win it when he was 38. slater now 40 years old. this year's competition has a little extra drama after a possible shark sighting on day one. a surfer says when he left the water in the middle of a competition did it because he saw a shark. there was one park ranger over standing on the sand a long ways away, as laura points out, he said more likely it was a dolphin, it wasn't a shark. the surf contest will continue through next week depending on weather conditions.

take a look at your temperature in oakland. nice and comfortable, 60 degrees here, 60 in concord and 60 in fairfield with the warming breeze. as we head through tomorrow, we'll start out very, very cold. like i said, seize the day. 62 at concord, 65 in hayward and 69 in sunnyvale. rounding the day in the up her 70s. in many east bay cities, 79 in fairfield, 78 for fremont, 77 in san jose and 78 in los gatos. major changes in the forecast. we're keeping the red flag warning in place until 9:00 a.m. after that, high pressure drifts off to the east as low pressure digs in. you see these spotty clouds. this is a cold air mass. because it's so cold, it's not packing a lot of moisture but certainly enough to make for one of those days where you want to stay indoors tomorrow. we're talking about gusty winds starting first. showers arrive early tomorrow morning in the north bay. mostly cloudy with intermittent on and off showers thursday into friday. 7:00 a.m., you see the draped

you come in towards fremont. fender-bender, but in your middle lanes. slowing there just cropped up over the last few minutes. livermore you see this accident at el charo. ambulance on scene. distraction and slowing out of the altamont pass for a 34-minute drive. south bay, the accident still there on the shoulder, northbound 101 at 880 and slowing pretty much from capital expressway all the way up towards that 880 interchange and continuing to the airport. not unusual, but it is kicking in for the south bay. the bay bridge, the toll plaza as laura showed you, filled in past west grand avenue. your drive down the carcinas bridge to the maze, about 25 minutes. san jose has a new blueprint form what the city will look like in years to come. the city kouns sill unanimously passed the envision san jose general plan last night. the report spells out the city's vision for what san jose will be

like in 2040. the plan aims to prevent the conversion of industrial land into housing. instead city planners see urban villages springing up that would let neighbors live, work, shop and play all in the same spot. the fate of pot clubs would soon rest with south bay voters. a plan to increase taxes on the clubs to foot the bill is drawing criticism. marla tellez joins us with an update on the plan. >> reporter: it if mayor cluck reid has his way, the medical marijuana collectives will have to pay for than $2 million to fight to keep their clubs open. that may not be enough. advocates for medicinal marijuana came through with enough signatures that could cap the number of pot clinics in san jose. the new rules would mean all but ten of the city's 100 pot

collectives would shut down. the regulations would also require owners to grow their marijuana on their property. once the referendum petitions are certified, the council will decide whether to repeal these new regulations currently suspended or put the issue in the hands of the voters. assuming the issue does end up on the ballot, mayor reed wants the city council to raise the tax on the collectives. currently the tax is 7%. he wants that raised to 10% to pay for the city-wide on whether to repeal the pot regulations. it would cost the city more than $1 million and that's money the city doesn't have especially as it deals with a deficit for the 11th year in a row. pro points for the pot clinics say the tax hike will end up hurting not the owners, but the patients who depend on the marijuana for medicinal purposes. the city council will take it up one week from today, next wednesday. if a special election does

happen, it may not happen for another three months. >> thanks for up the date, march lafrnlths 6:51 right now. san diego county officials monitoring a nuclear power planted. yesterday an ammonia leak at the plant south of san clemente triggered an alert siren. crews say the leak stayed inside the building and didn't release any radiation. employees were evacuated. nobody was injured. ammonia is used to generate the steam to run the power plant's turbines. this morning occupy protesters getting ready for the general strike. "today in the bay's" christie smith joins us from oakland where the impact of the so-called general strike has some businesses certainly closed this morning. good morning. good morning to you. the encampment is getting much busier here at occupy oakland. what we're looking at is the plaza that was raided and emptied out last week. cal students have a sign up this

morning in support of occupy oakland and the general strike. i wanted to show you what's going on here, some more demonstrators are showing up. they brought some picket signs that people will be using later today. i spoke with one man who says he's a dock worker. he says he's just getting tired of the economic inequality. so he picked unone of these picket signs this morning and plans to hit the streets later today where the call is for people to leave their jobs and leave school and join the general strike, shut down the city, banks, corporations, even the port of oakland. this has the potential to be one of the biggest protests that oakland has seen in years with thousands of people coming down here. of course, there was a clash with police last week. and there is concern about how things will go today. but one demonstrator said he's hoping for a peaceful march. >> my hope is that we shut down the city center, if not further

reoccupy them. people in one stretch of the bayview district marched yesterday to take back 11 foreclosed homes. organizers say the bank's deceived them with high interest loans and refused to work to reduce those payments. homeowners say they intend to stay, even when the banks try to remove them. more reoccupy protests are being planned in the near future. another occupy protester spending his ninth day on top of a wall outside san jose's city hall. sean oh kelly slept on a five-foot-wide ledge since october 24th. san jose police are et letting him stay there. he says he won't come down until the mayor and city manager agree to meet him. a group of stanford law professors created an initiative to limit california's tough three strikes law. it would reserve the life prison penalty for only the most violent criminals. third strike offenders make up

return to the board for final approval sometime next week. a red tailed hawk shot through the head with a nail is expected to be released today. the hawk has been recovering at a san jose wildlife center. she was captured ten days ago after somebody reported seeing her with a nail right through her head. the nail did fall out when they tried to capture her. her care takers say she has fully recovered and now is well enough to be released out into the wild this morning. two big media companies worrying about their audiences this morning. let's start with aol. that company bought the "huffington post" tech crunch to attract a larger audience. they were able to increase overall audience, but only by 1%. comcast, the nation's biggest tv provider, and i should point out the owner of this tv station, says it's been able to slow the number of table subscribers leaving. cord cutters who give up cable connections in favor of watching
