rain, snow more likely, the mountain snow, from boston all the way down to the gulf coast, where there's going to be that best chance for some of the rain, possibly storms. the big story remains the mild temperatures, the yellow and the orange, 60s and 70s. now, 40s you would generally think of being cool, but you would think of it being cool in the late spring or summertime. this is very mild for you once again, from minneapolis to chicago. on thursday, chance for snow in the inner mountain west, watching this develop into potentially a big storm, pushing into the plains. around the gulf coast, a chance for storms and a few showers in the mid-atlantic. mild temperature readings throughout the plains, all the way over to the east coast. new york, 48. much milder around atlanta, even though there could be some around, around 70 degrees on your thursday. then you see that cold air on thursday and watch this, this is where things can get

interesting. an area of low pressure wrapping up here could bring a fair amount of snow in denver. it could be several inches. so keep it tuned into the weather channel. by saturday, chance for snow into the plains, much cooler in denver, rain and showers and a few storms in parts of the southeast into the mid-atlantic. on sunday, we'll see that testimony move into the great lakes. to the north, a chance for snow. to the south a chance for some rain. by monday, we're going to see temperatures cool off a bit in the northern locations, but still that chance for snow in the great lakes. remember "wake up with al" weekdays on the weather channel. between valentine's day coming up and schools about to release your kids for spring break, we've got a fun edible project everybody can do. almost everybody. >> one of our favorites, author of "cupcakes, cookies, and pie, oh my!" desserts so beautiful you won't want to eat them but so delicious you'd be craze wri not to. >> no dessert is safe. >> expanding. >> same technique, same kind of fun ewing candies and cookies to decorate. we used taffy last time but we came up with this recipe for candy clay. i have a setup for you over here, kathie. >> okay. >> it's basically just -- you can use melted chocolate chips. you can use candy wafers. we mix it with corn syrup. feel this. this is just candy clay. >> oh.
