good morning, everybody. it is 10:26. i'm jon kelley. it has been one month since sierra lamar was last seen, and today friends and family are commemorating the anniversary. she disappeared march 16th on the way to school. since then, hundreds of volunteers spent weeks combing through fields in morgan hill and surrounding areas searching for any kind of clues. tonight, sierra's family is having a balloon release and prayer vigil at burnett elementary where searches have been organized.reun volteer more volteer searches scheduled for tomorrow, saturday and sunday. a look at the traffic and weather after this break. if my mom can fight and beat breast cancer, i can walk 60 miles. you just put one foot in front of the other, and you know that you're walking for such a great cause that you just keep going.

you're in really good shape. this is what they say with a slow food cooking movement. but it comes in a jar so you don't have to spend hours in the kitchen. >> the sauce can take you hours just there. >> it sure can. we're starting with the skinless chicken thighs. at "cooking light" we want to make things healthier, taking off the skin, replace with a little olive oil, you'll have a lower saturated fat option. these are just browned right here in the skillet. two teaspoons olive oil. >> your cacciatore stuff. >> we've got about a minute. i'm going to help you put all this stuff in here. >> look at hoda cooking. rosemary, peppers, garlic, this is the flavor we're arding instead of sodium. you cook that about three minutes. then in go the mushrooms.

cook that for about six minutes until it cooks down. final step, there's our lower sodium sauce. >> the last thing is the sauce. >> exactly. >> dump it right in. then you just cook until the sauce is heated through. that's about a month. >> look how good that looks. that looks delicious. >> except for the green peppers i'd love it. >> then we put it straight in and we coat the bottom of this pan with the cacciatore. something really important -- would you hand me those chicken thighs? something that's really important is lots of the tomato sauces have over 500 milligrams of sodium. our favorite ones that are lighter, we say keep it under 350. looking good? >> you just cook that in the oven? >> you just cook this in the oven, just like this, for 30 minutes. >> do you cover it or just leave it open? >> just leave it open like that.
