mid-atlantic, will bring a chance for more showers, thunderstorms, lightning, potentially gusty winds and hail in parts of the northeast, this front dipping down to the northern portion of the southeast. still a pocket of very hot air throughout portions of the heartland, the southern plains, we'll see readings into the mid to upper 90s. there will be a few spots in kansas and oklahoma where we're back into the triple digits. on saturday, a few showers for the northern plains, northeast dealing with showers, possibly florida and southern alabama and georgia with showers. heat building back in. we see more pink on the map here for saturday. this means more frip il digits for oak oeshgs almost wiklahoma state roasting, same for kansas and parts of arkansas. 103 in dallas on saturday, northeast a little cooler, 70s to 80 degrees. then on sunday, not nearly as much rain. we'll have temperatures still extremely hot right here in the middle, and in the southeast still seeing these readings into
