staying in place. as we head into sunday and monday, hot air will scoot to the east and that will make way for cooler weather, not only for the coast line but the interior valleys. the interiorly valleys, i wanted to do it, but we could not take it out of the 100 degree category. we will find 90s to 100s and the cooling fog in combination with the hot air sliding off to the east should help to drop the interior valleys to 80s and 90s. with more weather still up there on saturday, we do have another spare the air alert here for the first part of the weekend with unhealthy levels of the o zone. take temperatures down a bit, not too bad, trying to get out of the triple digits, 100 walnut creek, and 100 in concord, and 80s back here from castro

valley. you do not have to go far to find different temperatures. 92 in santa rosa. a day and a half left to competition, sailing will be happening here, mostly sunny skies, great weather with mid 70s, a slight chance of a shower for the closi ceremony and for monday and tuesday, anyone left at the olympics. we will have a few more showers. and you know, when it comes to sailing, it debuted way back in 1900 and great britain has been the most successful in the last three olympics, taking home the most gold. the temperatures go down, but by sunday, upper 90s, and monday, tuesday and wednesday, and temperatures gradually cooling off. so, it's a hot saturday, probably as hot as it was in the club with raj, raising the roof. i wanted to see that. >> we need more behind the scenes footage. >> coming up, a teenage that are

it sounds like something out of a movie, early this morning, someone tried to break into a juvenile detention facility, they believe they were trying to break out a high profile suspect, charged with murder. someone cut through two chain link fences around 4:30 this morning and tried to smash a cell wall and window with a sledge hammer. the break in did not work and the suspects managed the to get away. deputies say they were trying to break into the cell occupied by max wade who turned 18 today. he was transferred to the adult jail as previously scheduled. the 49ers kicked off their preseason tonight, see how they looked, next in sports.

>> dolphins caught on video by bay area fishermen. the crew was 20 miles off the coast, when they spotted the dolphins, and he basically took his go-pro video camera and lowered it four feet below the surface and then they slowed down and let the dolphins swim up to the camera. >> you can tell in the video they are right up next to it within inches of it, they were curious and were coming up and checking it out.
