here at eton dorney, actually picked up in the last few moments making for slower times for the finals today. there's your lineup for the c-1 200 meters. the man from russia has been very good to this point. lane one from slovakia, hagara. third in his semifinal. won a gold in 2010. mathieu from france. competed with the t-1, 1,000 meters from spain, silver medalists last couples seasons. cheban, and the 26-year-old in his third olympics. there in '04 and in beijing in 2008. lithuania in lane 5.

shuklin. 26-year-old. european chap from 2010 and shtyl. 26 years of age, world champ, 2010. next to china, takes nine hours on a plane to get to training camp. and 25 years of age, a five-time world champion in the 500 and then sakamoto in lane 8 from japan. russia in lane 6, awfully good. >> he has been. he's no stranger to bad weather. where he lives, average january, a balmy negative 20 degrees fahrenheit. >> not complaining about cold water here at eatton dorney. can't afford a slow start. no time to make it up. >> 200 meters to the finish line. first time ever at the olympics. here we go. >> the start under way.

so far for him. and france. a couple of wins in the world cup circuit this year, and great britain in lane 3. european champs in 2012. three golds in that event. and from belarus, they sail through winning their semifinal to make it here to the final. russia has been very good. from germany, the veteran. european silver medalist this year has an opportunity here. argentina correa and they were ninth at the championship. here they are. from australia, bird, phillips, inspired by the australian win in the k-4 and said we have nothing to lose here in the k-2 200.

excel aren't aren't arena packed and pumped. . jordan burroughs, an olympic champion. >> that was yesterday and now today in our studio here in london, jordan burroughs join us. had you a busy day yesterday. people forget, you have to win four matches over a six-hour period. what does it do to celebrate and how do you feel today? >> i did a little celebrating with my coach, coaching staff, my family. hanging out for a little bit. basically catching up on the contests, a lot of people, family is here. but it's been a long day today. a lot of media. a lot of media attention. right now just trying to make my

rounds and relax late other than this afternoon and watch my teammates. >> you seem pretty comfortable with being the face of wrestling, a sport i know you feel doesn't get enough attention. i've seen you quoted saying, you've seen ten times more poker on television than wrestling. >> now that you truly are the face of wrestling, what next? how do you manifest and make that sport more popular? >> continue to win. continue to do things like this. continue to give the sport greater exposure. continue to just represent the sport and with great humility. i think i've done that up to this point and i want to hopefully continue that. >> you grew up in new jersey but went to nebraska. you're in lincoln right now, but you're going to be out of college now for the next four years. so instead of training in a college program, how are you going to keep ready for rio de janeiro? >> my head coach, personal coach the last two years, i train a lot with the college guys and back and forth between there and

the olympic training center in colorado springs with the coach and the national team. we do a lot of training, a lot of different techniques. so it works for me. >> now, you know, you tell some people you're a wrestler, you know what most people think, you're wrestling wwe. >> yeah. >> and now, it seems to me that the mma, mixed martial arts, is using the college programs, wrestling programs as a breeding ground for the mma. what do you think of that? any chance you would do that? >> awesome. a little bit of sports, cool on pay per view every other weekend. i've never been to a fight in my life. kind of scared to get punched in the face. >> really? >> yeah. we'll see. i'm not at tough off the mat as i am on it. >> what i loved yesterday. afterwards you said, if the queen of england had shown up, you were going to put a double move on her. double leg move on her. >> i don't want to say that too loud again. although that was a good idea. >> could have made a few

3-2 in a preliminary round. in one of the greatest matches i've seen, beat china three sets to two. 18-16 in the fifth and overwhelmed by brazil, three sets to none. in the semifinal, set ug up a rematch of the beijing olympics later on today will be the united states and brazil. for the gold medal. >> the rematch of '08 where i thought brazil was clearly the stronger team. they proved it in the match. i think things have flipped. volleyball, in the united states, it's now up to them to prove it. >> and that's going to be slugged down inside the block, and kim starting to heat up, or loosen up.
