just hoping for a calm, peaceful day as he's watching tents pop up outside, marking the one-year anniversary of the occupy movement. a small group started pitching tents and unrolling their sleeping bags last night. they picked this corner because they say it's home to the many financial institutions that they have been protesting against all along. the issues they say are the same, financial inequality, foreclosures, but they say the group has grown in its tactics. less camps out and more of a focused agenda. >> we're transitioning. we have occupy groups that have started all across the city of san francisco. focusing on all different issues and then coming together when we need to come together. so while it looks like we might have gotten smaller, we actually have gotten larger. >> reporter: so here's a partial list of some of the things that could slow you down today. at noon a group focused on stopping foreclosures plans to gather at the san francisco war memorial building at 1:00, what

shadowing that group. so fall just a handful of protesters have been arrested for sitting on the sidewalk. 6:47 right now. we check in with rob mayeda in for christina loren today. cool, chilly? >> it is cooling off. this weekend we had temperatures near 90 in our inland valleys. not the case today. we've got all the low clouds inland into livermore, even near fairfield this morning which hints at some cooler changes. and oakland, you're seeing a lot of gray skies there but not down at ground level so that's good news. for our bridges, you're not running into fog. the bottom of those clouds ar the about 800 feet, higher up. the tops of the clouds are 2,000 feet. when you get that, they have no trouble spilling in and reaching the tri-valley like we're seeing this morning. temperatures with the low clouds not too bad, mostly low 50s outside so a light jacket as you head out with the kids this morning should be fine. but they'll probably be going back to t-shirt weather by the afternoon. even though the sea breeze is out there reaching into fairfield and around livermore,

our inland valleys should still see low 80s well inland but around the coast and bay it's going to be chilly the next couple of days. temperatures will be in the upper 50s and low 60s for the next couple of afternoons. satellite view shows you we don't have any monsoon moisture so if you're headed to the high country, the sierra looks pretty good. we'll still see temperatures further inland to the north, around lake county close to 90 today. a bit of a subtropical flow coming across the central california coast. you probably saw the high clouds yesterday, may see a few more this afternoon. right now it's the low clouds we're waking up to this afternoon. clearing skies inland and once again like clockwork, we'll see the low clouds spilling back across the bay and into our inland valleys tomorrow. we've got this relatively mild pattern in place wrapping up the last few days of summer with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. pleasanton, sunol, up towards alamo and danville, you'll probably see low 80s for the afternoon, but 82 in fairfield
