just behind the home where the damage is here. the coroner's presence means this has turned into a deadly fire. fire officials are not saying how many people died. now, we can tell you just a short time ago a van pulled up outside the home. a couple people got out. one person wrapped in a blanket. that person could be a survivor. i asked an officer on scene about that. he implied that at least one person did survive the flames. we do know for certain the fire was called in just before 11:30 last night. looks like it was contained to the back room of this home. inside the plaza delray complex on vienna drive near lawrence expressway and tazman. the backside is completely charred and gutted. we got a look at the home on the other side where the garage is. there are two cars quietly parked inside and are untouched. the flames doing all of the

6:02 am
our photographer on the scene just talked to them saying it's 80 to 100 gallon tank there. they are sweeping up absorbant. we've seen them every few minutes walk over there and spread more of that kitty litter substance out there to absorb it. two lanes are blocked in the northbound direction. and they just have to get the proper equipment there. looks like they have arrived. 50-gallon drums there to pump fuel out of the tank and clear it from the roadway. progress is being made as they do that with the hand pump. chopper shows us from overhead the two lanes are blocked and two lanes getting by through a dark area. you can see flashing lights. a couple chp cruisers and fire crews and the rig and a backup tow rig as well. a lot of activity on the northbound side. let me show you the map. the backup. now slows from north of montague expressway passing lawrence expressway. get it on fair oaks and you are okay. tazman through same area that marla reports that fire.
