minutes, a little bit longer. whether or not that's going to affect the commute, it is hard to say. mike has a little bit more on that. that is truly the worst part of our jobs in talking about someone who is killed. we are looking over where bob was talking about. this is a little confusing camera 101 at the 682 interchange. that's the direction the camera was pointing over my shoulder. this is southbound 280 as it transitions over to northbound 680 around the 101 interchange. this is basically 280 going to 680 as you are heading through san jose and making your bend around. two lanes are currently blocked. you don't see a lot of slowing at the scene but you did see all the flashing lights. the corner from chp as bob was on the camera there, they are say the coroner should be there about 4:45 and we're guessing another 45 minutes after that. probably 5:30 as we are looking at the lanes to reopen if there

assault weapons. tomorrow's event is set to run from 8:00 a.m. until noon at reed hill view airport in east san jose. guns should be unloaded in the trunk of a car or a bed of a truck. san jose city leaders hope a new program will help bring more business downtown. start-up san jose is a proposal by three city council members aimed at filling vacant storefronts in the downtown area. the city would wave permanency for small businesses if landlords agree to least space. residents can come preview some local vendors. additional vendors will set up shop at the legacy city tower from 5:00 to 8:00 tonight. bay area police taking to twitter to give people a taste of what officers go through each and every day. this is all part of a 24-hour global police tweet-a-on this.

a major shakeup at the fcc. we turn to seema mody live at cnbc world headquarters. good morning. >> very good morning. we start with the markets. major stock indexes posted their biggest losses yesterday. increasing concerns about the ongoing banking saga in cyprus. nasdaq ending lower by 31. s&p 500 losing 13 points. the sec will soon have a new leader at its helm. the current chairman will announce he is stepping down as the head regulator of the top companies. it happens just days after another scc commissioner announced his resignation from the agency. nike stocks, company posting a quarterly profit up some. future demand for shoes and clothing is higher. shares closed up more than 8% in after-hours trading. we will have to watch stock when they open at 9:30 eastern.

back to you. three people are dead after a shooting at a marine base in virginia. a marine shot and killed another marine late last night. that led to a standoff between authorities and the suspect who hid in the barracks at the bay. authorities went inside the barracks early this morning. they found that suspect and another victim dead. a bay spokesperson said the second victim was also a marine. it is unclear what prompted that shooting. south korea is apologizing saying it mistakenly accused china as the origin of a recent cyberattack. the attack that paralyzed tens of thousands of computers at six south korean companies came from a chinese internet address. now, they say the address actually belonged to a computer at one of the south korean companies that was his. they still think it originated from somewhere but they don't know where. some expect pyong gang. >> teaching an old dog some new

woman lying in the middle of the freeway. chp believes she was a ped, not clear what she was doing up here. coroner arrived within the past 10, 15 minutes. that means that they are going to be wrapping up here pretty soon according to chp. again, we are looking at possible complete reopening by 5:30. people driving object the freeway, you saw the body. called 911. this was around 3:15 this morning. officers are classifying this as a hit and run. they have no witnesses. this he need your help. if you saw anything in this area around that time, around 3:15. one man was released from the scene. he is upset. not clear what kind of information he might have had about what happened here. it is possible he is one of the drivers that came upon this and is distraught of what he saw. this is a pre-heavy commute time so it is not
