few warm spots are going to be. today a chance for heavy rain and severe weather throughout parts of southeast here where the rain and thunderstorms. you see some of the red, this will include the panhandle. there could be damaging winds and hail and even tornados. warmer to the south of this area right here. 80s, you look into orlando. but farther to the north, much cooler. 47 in atlanta. and still relatively mild in chicago, louisville, kansas, 50s and 60s. threat for more rain and storms farther to the east on friday. while another system starts to move across the more than tier as well. we'll watch things in the southeast start to get back closer to normal. starting to rebound a bit into the 0s for atlanta. and now washington, d.c.
