of things. >> good morning. we have this camera in san jose, pointed down to the typical shot. until about 30 seconds before i came to set, so about a minute ago. we have no problems northbound 101 at 680. we had some activity. looks like there was a stall that had gotten cleared. overall, things are looking nice. middle of the screen, though, activity slow. construction crew still there, 280 at 880. you see that now, north 880 off 280. coleman, looks like all activities should be clear from the roadway. little slowing past the scene. i'll keep my eye on that. back to you. 4:32. a fix could soon be on the way for the broken bolts on the new span of the bay bridge. the toll authority will get an update from caltrans on the steel bolts that snapped from the lower tech. new bolts are being tested to make sure the problem doesn't spread. clamp-like fixture has been proposed as a solution. the toll authority is expected

to approve it at today's meeting. from the bay bridge to the golden gate bridge. causing major headache for drivers al day yesterday. spokeswoman says new asphalt and two lanes on the bridge started to crumble during yesterday morning's commute, leaving large pebbles on the roadway. chp officials trying to figure out why a car veered off 101 and plunged right into the bay. this happen eed around midnight near the candlestick park. it left the road and went completely under water. the driver, we're happy to report, was able to escape unhurt. no one else was in the car. the search is on for whoever shot bullets. the caption said firefighters had to dive for cover as bullets

amanda berry, gina deheesz and michele knight are doing well. they are taking a slow approach because the women are likely suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. surveillance videos for you to you see. the suspect allegedly robbed at chase bank yesterday morning in stone ridge drive. he was last seen running away from that scene. >> armed robber pose as a subcontractor walked right into the dsw shoe store april 25th and then asked to speak to a manager. he was armed with a gun and told the manager to open a safe. the manager put some money into a bag and the robber took off driving a white car, believed to be a prius. >> it's 4:36.

the city by the bay. we'll see plenty of low cloud cover this morning, filling in our inland valleys. visibilities at the surface are okay. you can see this fog hovering down to the surface. nice and mild out there. don't need a heavy coat to start the day. show you what's happening in terms of these showers. plenty of activity in the sierra nevadas. up to six inches of snowfall now in the highest peak. not going to last long. another warming trend headed our way. going to show you the setup on our satellite imagery. area of low pressure starts to move to the east. we still have these pesky showers in the forecast for today. stopped the clock for you at 9:00 am. east bay at that point. as we head out through 9:00 tonight, we'll see those showers after which time they will start to dissipate, clearing you out.

debris. some explosive testimony expected today on capitol hill on whether or not the u.s. could have stopped those deadly attacks on the consulate in benghazi. a total of four americans, include i including u.s. ambassador and bay area native christopher stevens died in that attack last year. deputy chief gregory hicks expected to tell congress today he asked for more help from u.s. special forces after the first two attacks on that night but the military turned him down. he claims the deaths of two americans could have been prevented. $1 million reward offered in the case of a former los angeles police officer turned suspected killer will be split three ways. massive manhunt for christopher dorner took place in february after he allegedly killed four people, including two law enforcement officers. the lapd says the couple who called police after being held hostage by dorner inside their cabin in big bear will receive 80% of the award. a man who found dorner's burning
