smooth drive over the upper deck approaching san francisco. the lower deck, a little slowing and maybe a crew there headed toward treasure island. south 101 toward east 80 getting off the bridge in the skyway. an early morning crash. right now, one lane blocked. just be careful out there. crews helping this person out. no other slowing. a transition off of the freeway. back to you. we do have breaking news to tell you about. rescue workers in bangladesh say they have pulled a survivor from the wreckage of a building 17 days after it collapsed. rescuers say the woman named reshma, was able to get their attention by waving at them from beneath the rubble. they used a hand saw and drilling equipment to cut her through the iron rod and debris that was trapping her. she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. soldiers described her as being in remarkably good shape besides her ordeal.

for nicholas raymond nels tomorrow in santa cruz. the men were in the ka noon with their brother and sister. only one brother and the sister managed to swim to shore safely. police say, there were no life vests in the canoe the family of a gay boy scout from the bay area will be holding a rally to allow openly gay members. ryan andreson earned national attention when he was denied his eagle scout because he was gay. they proposed a policy that would allow openly gay scouts in their organization. ryan's father will be holding a rally supporting the change. they are expected to take a vote at their national meeting in texas sometime later on this month. a new way for you to help the families of the nine women caught in a limo fire last saturday. the oakland nursing home where a majority of the women work have set up an account for the

families. you can donate to the san mateo angels fund account. the women were celebrating the recent marriage of neriza fojas on saturday night when the limo caught fire. five women died including fojas. four others were injured. the nursing home says it has appointed a committee to help decide how to distribute the donations fans at at&t park getting a chance to remember victims and raise money to those affected by the recent tragedy in both boston and texas. as part of a special fund-raiser, the wives of the players will be selling mystery autographed baseballs and proceeds from the sales will go to benefit the victims of the boston marathon bombing and money will go to the victims of the huge explosion at a fertilizer plant down in texas. tonight's game is against the braves. the first pitch goes off at 7:15. >> let's see what the weather will be like? checking in with meteorologist,

4:46 right now. this morning, investigators still trying to figure out if dogs from a home in southern california are linked to the mauling of a 64-year-old woman. she was walking from her home not far from palmdale when she was viciously attacked by a pack of several pitbulls. officials are taking dna samples from the four dogs to see if those are the animals responsible for their death. the dog owner was arrested for allegedly growing marijuana. if those dogs are linked to the killing, authorities say they plan to file additional charges against the man. o.j. simpson is headed back to court in las vegas asking for a new trial on armed robbery charges. he was convicted in 2008 of leading the robbery of two sports memorabilia in las vegas. he said he thought they were personal belongings stolen from him after his murder trial in

the 1994 killings of his ex-wife. his lawyer knew about the problems to retrieve the items and should have testified as a witness in the trial. simpson is serving 9-33 years in prison. new york city working on a plan to give hundreds of thousands of immigrants the right to vote in local elections. the city council discussing the idea during a meeting last night. this one would allow people who are in the couldn't interest i legally but are not citizens, the right to vote in city elections. month are than 800,000 people would be affected. advocates say people who pay taxes should be allowed to choose what's done with the taxes. opponents on the other side, including new york mayor, michael bloomberg, say voting should be reserved for citizens and represents a goal for immigrants. stopping by carson daly's last call, newsome stopped by to promote his book inspired by
