always happy to have you along with us. i'm jon kelley. >> i'm laura garcia-cannon. >> we have breaking news where a traffic stop turned into an officer-involved shooting. alameda county police said they spotted a green honda. after pursuit the car stopped. the driver was tackled to the ground by sheriff's deputy. female passenger tried to take off on foot but was caught. a third suspect got into the driver's seat of the buick and tried to drive away. they tried to drag a deputy with him. another deputy fired a shot hitting the driver and that driver is now at eden hospital. we have an update to more breaking news this morning. investigators looking for answers after gunfire erupts on interstate 880 in oakland killing two people. the shutdown there. the shooting there shut it down, the freeway, for several hours just as thousands of people were leaving that warriors game. this all happened about 10:30 last night on northbound 880.

that's near jackson street. not too far from the on ramp to 980. "today in the bay" christie smith is joining us from chp headquarters. she has the latest on the search for the suspects. kristie, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, john. the chp tells us they have a number of witnesses. they're asking for more witnesses to come forward, specifically the people who saw the shooting go down. someone opened fire on a car, a porsche, traveling northbound they believe on interstate 880 killing the driver. the driver actually died right there in the driver aesz seat. the passenger also shot, too. now this was on the northbound lane of 880. that passenger staggered out onto the lane. he was hit by one car, maybe more. this after being shot. now the frantic 911 calls started coming in around 10:30. shots fired and a collision. oakland police also started getting calls a couple of minutes later about an argument over 7th and alice streets.

both agencies responded. this freeway shut down. this is northbound 880 at jackson street. the on ramp there with a horrible scene. two men dead, one of them out on the road. the chp tells us that it was such a bizarre and bold shooting that they're trying to piece together exactly how and where it went down. >> we do have shell casings and physical evidence on the on ramp here and on the freeway and so what we're trying do is in a very meticulous manner go process this crime scene, collect all the physical evidence and try to determine exactly what transpired here. >> now the driver who hit the man, the passenger who staggered out on the road actually stopped and they are cooperating with investigators. this happened as the warriors/spurs playoff game was letting out from oracle arena. there was quite a lot of traffic that had to be diverted because the lanes were shut down. freeway opened up before 3:00 this morning. the chp telling us that the victims were not dressed in any

warriors gear or paraphernalia. there was no reason to specifically believe that they were at the game. they are two african-american they did speak briefly with the chp briefly minutes ago. they told me they are handling the collision part of this investigation and opd is actually handling the two homicides. reporting live in oakland, christie smith, "today in the bay." new video this morning. chp are trying to figure out how a car ended up on its roof and abandoned on the side of the road in san jose. officers say someone reported seeing it before the lee and bass come exit. inside officers found a loaded gun. a witness saw the driver walking away from the scene but officers don't know where he went. they're not sure why the driver abandoned the car. and new this morning, five people right now under arrest after police say they trespassed at a san francisco state university dorm overnight. university police say one officer was taken to the hospital after the trespassers

fought back. when officers tried to remove them. at one point somebody pulled a fire alarm and the whole dorm had to be evacuated. after police secured that building, only students with proper ids were allowed back inside. >> 6:05. the follow up this morning for you on the man who jumped on the roof of a b.a.r.t. at the macarthur station. he's undergoing psychiatric evaluation. police say 29-year-old rodney jenkins stopped trains around 5:30 yesterday morning. he hopped into nearly interstate and he was arrested about an hour later. it is 6:05. it is time to check the weather. give you a nice look outside. in oakland you can see a little bit hazy out there. don't let that fool ya. it will be a smooth taste all the way. christine loren will tell you a nice way to start our weekend. >> show and tell. good morning to you. yeah, you can see from that shot in oakland, we do have some moisture out there. you can see from this shot here

over the bay bridge some ripples out on the bay. breezy start to the day. we promised you beautiful sunrise and there you have it. now the sun is up. 53 degrees in livermore to start. 54 in oakland. we're at a comfortable 51 degrees in san jose. cooler than yesterday. anywhere from 2 to 11 degrees cooler. you'll notice a difference. pull out that sweater or jacket. you'll need it for all across the day in the area. the winds are still coming out of the west. onshore flow persists for the day. cooler than average. 70 degrees inland. 67 bay side. major changes just around the corner. we have a warmup on the way. close to 90 degrees in some cities by sunday. we'll time that out for you. let you know where that is. micro climates kicking in. also that drive is kicking in. hi, mike. >> good morning. i know this is tv. the vision part. this is not a great shot. i turned to show you what we can, impeded by the tree. you see all the brake lights

jamming up northbound 101 making the bend around allen rock and the mckey exits. the map will show you the same stretch roadway heading towards 880 on to 101. reports of a four-vehicle crash. one of them is an suv. it is visible. that's slowing northbound 880. north 101 jamming up as the build happens from 680 up the scene. very slow through the stretch. take north 680 and head up towards montague and cut over. the rest of the south bay looks fine. again, 101 with this backup will probably ripple back and that may cause more folks to take highway 85 to 87 to downtown. that could be a big issue for the morning commute. we will track the ripple effect for the south bay. meanwhile, livermore, no problems. typical friday build for this stretch. we'll follow castro valley. we talked about the police activity. the investigation has stopped 238 getting off at the castro

valley boulevard off ramp. it is closed because of that investigation. so far 238 itself and the castro valley y and the commute moving smoothly. a live look outside will show you the bay bridge toll plaza. we have the metering lights turned on. it is 6:08. sometimes we don't see it until 6:20. it is a little early. we expect it to happen anyway. the maze is clear. give you a little heads up right now. u.c. san francisco among several u.c. hospitals canceling surgery starting monday. hospitals in san diego, irvine, san francisco and davis, they all say all elective surgeries are a no go as patients and technical workers gear up for a possible two-day strike. that union includes nursing assistants and operating room scrubs among others. emergency care will not be shut down. so be aware of that as well. and patients already in those five hospitals, they will still receive care. it is 6:08.

california's jobless hotline being cut due to budget cuts. they're telling call center workers not to answer the hotline after lunch starting on monday, staffers will deal with other duties after lunch like processing claims, responding to questions submitted online. california employment development department is urging people to use self-help options including its website and facebook page as well as twitter. the unemployment rate in california, 9.4% as of march. it's the third highest in the country. well, time now is 6:09. coming up, first it was texas, now canada. the newest move to poach the best and brightest from the silicon valley. see what canada says that it can offer that the u.s. can't. >> don't take our scott mcgrew. >> reporter: no way. plus, the biggest problem facing spice these days. facebook. we'll take a look coming up. for our families... our neighbors... and our communities...

>> announcer: your' watching "today in the bay." welcome back. happy, happy friday to you. today is one of those beautiful days. we've got good air quality. you can open up the windows in your home. a gentle breeze will carry the air in your home. highs will be in the 70s. then we warm up quickly. your full forecast in just a few moments. great. christina has a beautiful sunrise and i have this. the jammed north bountd 101. your first burst through the south bay. a lot heavier than you typically see on a friday. weel sort that out for you. thank you very much, mike. interstate 80 we want to let you know is back open this morning following a shooting that leaves two men dead late last night. chp officers say people in two cars were apparently shooting at each other. so far no arrests have been made. police are still outside a dormitory at san francisco state after protesters took over the

building last night. one officer was injured as police tried to remove those protesters. five people were arrested. drivers being warned to watch their bank accounts after gas station workers found credit card skimmers at two different gas stations in walnut creek. police say these skimmers were so sophisticated and the pumps showed no signs of being tampered with. police say it appears at least one of the skimmers has been there for more than a day. >> today the secretary of homeland security will be in the bay area to talk about immigration reform. janet napolitano will meet with local tech and business leaders to talk about how to make it easier for skilled immigrants to come to america. meantime, canada's minister of citizenship will be in the bay area today trying to convince some of the bay area's best and brightest to go ahead and move up north. jason kennedy telling "the mercury news" saying the american system is dysfunctional but canada is open for business. if people do qualify, they'll

get the canadian equivalent of a green card. kennedy will be in san francisco in the silicon valley tomorrow promoting canada's new visa for startup entrepreneurs. ever thought of how difficult it would be to be a spy in the age of facebook. >> from time to time. if you're a modern day james bond you don't want to put a picture of yourself or your kids online. scott mcgrew, if you don't have a facebook profile that looks suspicious as well. >> reporter: think about that. let's say you work for the fsb. this is the modern version of the kgb. you meet an american, look them up on facebook and he's not there or there's pictures of his dog instead of a profile picture. this is suspicious. we don't think this is how the russian security service caught ryan foghle. "the wall street journal" points out this morning his facebook page is practically bare. russia says foghle will be kicked out of the country. the newspaper has an interesting article this morning about what a really big problem facebook is

for spies. hundreds of people, thousands of people know who you are. you went to college with these people. you can't use your real name because you're a spy. you can't link to your friends because that would endanger them, but you can't not be on facebook because that is a sure sign you are a spy. speaking of facebook, it's been 364 days since this. facebook ipoed on may 18th, 2012. the one year anniversary will be tomorrow, saturday. this is the big celebration. counting down to a rocket that never launched because while no first-time offering of stock starts trading right away, facebook shares were delayed for hours due to a nasdaq computer problem. the fellow who invented grou upon and then turned down google's billion dollar offer to buy it is moving to san francisco. andrew mason says he and his wife are leaving chicago for now to start a new company here in the bay area. andrew also says he's recorded

an album of motivational business songs but you can never be sure when he's kidding. he once tried to give the mayor of new york a pony. i have no idea if he's being serious about that album. john and laura, i think i made a bit of geek history as it were. this weekend on "press here" ben pard, he spends the whole episode wearing google glass. i'm pretty sure this is the first tv show that happened. he's not just showing them off but conducting his job on television while wearing them. yeah, maybe the first time ever. it was a little distracting at first but we got over it. >> did you get to try them on? >> reporter: we did. ben was very nice. when he walked through the newsroom practically everyone stopped him to try them on and everyone seemed to enjoy it. it went much more smoothly than "saturday night live." >> i'm usually here when those interviews went in. >> snl, how's this? >> every once in a while you

francisco bridge. we still have westerly flows. we're starting out nice and cool. it will continue to pump on shore courtesy of some pretty strong wind this morning all the way at 12 miles per hour sustained in concord. you can see it will move through the deltas. not just here, all across northern california. it's a get away friday. you might be headed up north. beautiful conditions if you want to do any camping this weekend. cool front came through. the cold air travels behind that front. it takes one day to mix up. high pressure already moving in. this will bring our temperatures up quickly. tonight will be a little bit on the chilly side. if you've got tickets o.co coliseum. they're back at it taking on the royals. we're going to see some warm after noongs. should be a good game. our giants back at home at&t park as we head through monday. they'll be at the home stand just about every single day next week we have a giants game. we'll have the forecast for you. weekend warming, look at the

difference between today and where we're headed on sunday. just want to give you a heads up. if you want to make the outdoor plans, sunday is better by the beach and in land it's going to be a little bit on the warm side by sunday. hold onto the warm for monday. cooling down tuesday into thursday. perfection. we'll get a stretch really nice spring like weather. let's check on the drive. perfection in that department? >> no. big no. hey, folks, if you're driving through san jose, give you a second to turn around, stop what you're doing because you've got to see this. northbound 101 jammed up now just north of 680. let me show you on the map as you're coming up towards tuly road. all the way up towards 880. there's a crash here involving four vehicles. on the northbound transition from north 880 as you're getting over towards 101. they're off to the shoulder. 880 itself slowing a little bit for spectator slowing. any slowing here and any distraction, you might be able to see part of that crash

activity from 101. that caused an early backup going all the way back to 680. you might want to use north 680 and cross over to montague. if that's an option, i would suggest taking that. that may cause a backup here or folks here will sometimes use 85 to 87 addsingb additional trafc into downtown. we'll watch for the shuffle. allow an extra 10 to 15 minutes through the area, you should be able to deal with any of the slowing and get to work on time and maybe have a chance to get coffee and you can breathe a sigh of relief. we have no problems for 880 and 90 heading over the san mateo bridge. that's smooth. south 238 over towards 580. that off ramp on castro valley boulevard, that's still closed because of police activity. that's an ongoing investigation. use the next one to get through city streets and back over towards your area. over on the side of the san

mateo bridge. let's take a look at the approach coming off the high rise. there's the haze. visibility okay for drivers. a little build as far as the volume. no major slowing for 101, 92, or all the traffic for those two. the east shore freeway will catch a quick look. as you head towards the bridge, the lights are on at the toll plaza. getting there through berkeley and emeryville, easy spacing. once you approach the emeryville area it's smooth until you hit the berkeley curve. that's where you have the slowdown. thank you very much. 6:21. a man suspected of kidnapping a 4-year-old girl is in police custody this morning after the girl's mother chased him in her car for miles. melissa torres says her daughter was playing in the front yard of her front apartment complex in albuquerque, new mexico. someone grabbed the little girl. she called the police, got in her car and chased the suspect. we were going really fast. he turned and i tried to brake.

a friend of one of the boston marathon bombing suspects is expected to be in court today.philipos is accused of making false statements. they're accused of destroying empty fireworks and removing a backpack along with a laptop from suspect dzhokhar tsarnaev's room. the subcommittee on crime, terrorism, homeland security and investigations looking at the use of drones commercially and by law enforcement. among those slated to testify, witnesses from the aclu and boston university. today on capitol hill lawmakers will conduct their first hearing on the scandal at the irs. the agency admits it singled out conservative groups who applied

for a certain tax exempt status. on thursday the president expressed outrage over the action and appointed a new head of the irs. o.j. simpson's former attorney scheduled to take the stand in las vegas as simpson tries to convince the judge to give him a brand-new trial on armed robbery cases. simpson's attorney told him it was legal to get his personal items back from two memorabilia dealers. simpson also claims attorney yale galanter told him not to testify and didn't tell him about a potential plea deal. he's subpoenaed so he does not have to appear in court. a homeless man once praised as a hero is behind bars. he's charged with beating a new jersey lawyer to death earlier this week. police say mcgill very ri met the 73-year-old man in new york city saturday and then spent two nights in his home. the man's body was found on monday. mcgilvery shot to fame after he

street. the new york stock exchange, we'll see how the numbers and everything go for the week ahead coming this friday, may 17th. this is "today in the bay." good morning, everybody. i need a shot of coffee. i'm jon kelley. >> we'll take care of you. i'm laura garcia-cannon. we have breaking news for you overnight in oakland where two men in a white porsche were shot on 880 near jackson street. the driver died in the car. the passenger apparently staggered out of the car into oncoming traffic where he was struck and killed by a passing car. we've just learned both chp and oakland police department handling this case. christie smith just confirmed that the oakland police department dealing with a homicide as well. chp dealing with the actual shooting and the crime scene on the freeway. the suspects are still on the loose. christ christie smith at chp. she's learned there may be

another car involved in it all. we're going to let her gather this information. she's going to be back with all of that coming up in a live report in just about 15 minutes. we also have new video this morning of tents already being set up along the routes of the 102nd beta breakers race in san francisco. this sunday's race will have a different look and a different feel. it's all because of the boston marathon bombings. this year organizers say there will be tougher enforcement of all of their rules. clothing and bib numbers mandatory this year. and no alcohol will be allowed on the course. this year there's also an emphasis big time on security. police and bomb sniffing dogs will be out in great numbers this year. sunday's race starts up at 7:00 sharp in the morning. yeah, the beta breakers race just one of many events that could actually make the drive into and out of san francisco a little difficult. >> yeah, with all that great weather it's going to be really rough. let's check in with traffic. mike, what's going on? what do you think? >> first of all, we'll do the

forecast for traffic. we don't always do that. beta breakers is one race. this is a compact city, 7 by 7. we're looking at the beta breakers race. the green dot over on the right, that's where it starts in the financial district. sometimes the crowds are big enough to actually push back towards a congestion over on the embarcadero. as that starts at 7:00, the crew starts to move west along the route heading over to the west in golden gate park. there are road closures. that's why traffic is tied up all through the city, through is the specific word. after it starts locals will go towards the embarcadero area. the first clearing is along the start line. you go along the coastal route. that will add complications, the alcatraz, shark fest swim is going on. from the rock over towards aquatic park taking you into that area right about when people are using that as an

amou alternate. at ghirardelli square there's a wine festival going on there adding more congestion to that area early in the morning as folks are trying to get around and maybe to the north bay. why would you head to the north bay? first of all, it's beautiful. make your get away. tiburon has a wine festival on the north side of the golden gate bridge. the ñiamgen tour, some folks wa to be there for the end. if you do, you know if you're coming from the south bay or peninsula, use the east shore freeway west 580 all the way up across the bridge and continue on 101 up. that keeps you clear of the city. it's a wonderful city, maybe don't go there on sunday if you don't have to. now let's talk about the commute right now as things in the south bay. let's get the traffic sensors on here. things are slowing down northbound 101. we had a lot of slowing going on because of a crash at the 880 interchange. that has started to move better. that early start is unexpected

so we will track that. it's very slow from 680 up to 880. the rest of the northbound freeway is moving okay. we'll see the volume as it starts to move much faster than it had been. a live look at fremont starting to see congestion through the bridge through this portion of your commute. the rest of your friday looking standard. there's a little breeze, christina. i see it on the flag. what do you have in store for us? just a beautiful sunrise, mike. that was a really good report. i'm scratching my head what i'm going to do with all of that happening across the bay area. the weather is going to be very comfortable though. i want to start with this live picture at 6:34. you can see the low clouds. over the golden gate bridge, nothing to show you. we've had significant flight delays the past couple of mornings. no delays this morning. no other delays across the nation. we'll let you know if that changes. as we progress throughout the morning, 54 degrees. 50 in sunny vail. 47 degrees and cool enough for a coat in santa rosa and santa

priority boarding based on carry ones. american airlines will let travelers with bags small enough to city fit under the seats to board first. >> i like that. >> carry a man percent. >> it's actually called a murse. >> i stand corrected. the airline says that the change will speed up the boarding process because passengers won't have to wait for others to load their luggage in the overhead compartments. >> nice. who says kfc doesn't deliver? how about some fast food going underground. a palestinian company in egypt helping people in gaza city helping people enjoy the 12 spices. get you a bucket. the company has to smuggle in the food using a network of underground tunnels beneath the

officer-involved shooting. deputies spotted a green buick with stolen honda license plates. after the pursuit the car was stopped. the driver was tackled to the ground by a sheriff's deputy. a female passenger tried to take off on foot but she was caught. a third suspect got into the driver's seat and tried to get away and dragged a deputy with him. another deputy fired a shot hitting that driver. the driver is at eden hospital. we have an update on breaking news at the chp. the deadly double shooting shut down interstate 880 in oakland. it happened just after the warriors game let out on the northbound side of the freeway near jackson street. christie smith is live at chp headquarters with new information she's been gathering all morning for us. >> reporter: i just got off the phone with chp. they're saying so far that witnesses are saying it may be a black or dark colored suv that pulled up alongside this white

porsche late last night and opened fire, that there were literally dozens of shell casings all over the freeway and the on ramp last night. the driver killed right there in the car after this gunfire erupted. that car, a porshe drifted right before stopping. the passenger was shot, got out and stumbled into oncoming traffic and was hit and killed there. frantic 911 calls started coming into the chp around 10:00 last night about a collision or accident on northbound interstate 880 in oakland at the jackson street on ramp. officers arrived. all northbound lanes shut down while they investigated. oakland police, they started getting emergency calls too. >> there was also a call received into the oakland police dispatch center of shots fired with an argument perhaps near 7th and alice street, which is not very far from here. so both agencies responded out.

when we got on scene we found one vehicle with one person dead inside. >> the driver that hit the passenger is cooperating with investigators. this wild scene actually unfolded as the warriors/spurs playoff game let out at oracle arena on to 880. that's where the traffic was going. it had to be diverted. big backups until the freeway was finally reopened before 3:00 this morning. the two victims, african-american males in their 20s. now earlier the chp said that they had no indicate that the men were at that warriors game but now what they're telling me is they've had a closer look at the car and there was warriors paraphernalia inside of it, two t-shirts, but they say that doesn't necessarily mean they were at the game. they may have been in a nearby bar watching the game. they're not sure. still trying to piece all of this information together and they're still asking witnesses to come forward. reporting live in oakland, christie smith today in the bay.

we have a wild scene. chp trying to figure out how a car with oregon license plates ended up on its roof and abandoned on the side of 280 near lee and bascom in san jose. this is video after that car was flipped back over on its right side and ultimately towed away. you can see the shattered glass there. the officers took a closer look and they found a loaded gun inside. you can see that. a witness telling officers the driver was a man and he simply walked away just after the crash. chp at this hour does not know where he went or who the car belongs to. new this morning, five people now under arrest after police say they trespassed into a san francisco state dorm room overnight. university police say one police officer was taken to the hospital after the trespassers resisted police efforts to remove them. at one point someone pulled a fire alarm and the whole dorm had to evacuate. after police secured the building students with proper i.d.s were allowed back inside.

let some of that cool air come in courtesy of a gentle breeze. as we head throughout the next couple of days, we'll warm up. stay warm for monday and then we have a nice stretch spring like weather to get to tuesday through thursday. let's get you to work on time.mp mike has been busy. >> yeah, i was worried. people go on auto pilot. northbound 101. the earlier crash has just closed as far as chp is concerned. north 880 at 101, sounds like all of the activity has cleared from the roadway. no longer much of a distraction through the area. that caused a big backup on north 101. presumably you could at least see some of the flashing lights and the activity earlier in the morning commute. that has sorted itself out. now that that crash has cleared out, we have your build. we see a little bit of slowing as you're heading over towards 280 northbound through the area. there was some slowing on the northbound side as folks try to get out of the backup. my maps are looping around.

we have a slowdown as you're heading out towards the expressway. 87 has the shift. we talked about 85 to 87 being an alternate. people might have taken early action as they heard about this. activity cleared. now you have your friday build for the south bay. let's move you on towards the bay bridge toll plaza. the median light is turned on about 6:05. we had an early backup. now these lanes are starting to clear up a little bit as you're heading off the 880 over crossing. fast track lanes are showing good movement. no delays and no incidents. 101 north bound. the southbound side you'll experience the sunrise slowdown. watch it. you'll need the sunglasses. >> great advice. as you can see, richmond police on the hunt this morning for the person who shot and killed a grandmother. she simply sat in the front room of her apartment. this morning there is a small memorial for 64-year-old bonita todd outside of that apartment on 20th street. police say wednesday night todd was sitting inside when she was

hit by gunfire. several other people were inside that home, including her son who was grazed. now police, they seem to think her son was the intended target, but at this point police will not comment on a motive. they say right now they have little information on any suspects. >> the man accused of stabbing and killing his mother and 1-year-old nephew in their san jose home is expected to face a judge today. rubin ramirez is being arraigned on murder and attempted murder charges for an attack that happened on wednesday. he's also accused of stabbing and attacking his 3-year-old niece. she's in the hospital this morning in stable condition. they say ramirez has a history of mental illness and deputies have been called to that home before. they say they're not about to give up. san jose city council man sam mccardle say they will wipe away the graffiti on the bridge over highway 101. it was two days ago that crews painted over to get rid of the

graffiti and then a tagger gra if i at thissed it all over again. they say crews will be painting a couple of graffiti covered overpasses before getting back to this one. credit card scammers discovered at gas pumps in walnut creek and they're causing a big concern all over the bay area. the skimmers were put so well together you couldn't even tell they were tampered with on the outside. they were so concerned police went to every station in the city and alerted all bay area police departments. on tuesday a skimmer was found at the chevron on north main. on wednesday one was discovered at the valero on north broadway. when drivers swiped their cards the information was transmitted to a tiny device hooked up inside the pumps. officers say it's important to be alert when you're pumping your gas. >> is the lock broken? does the door swing wide open? are there wires exposed? does the door look bebnt? >> getting harder to tell. keep an eye on your account

activity to make sure you're not a victim or even better i guess try to get some cash ahead of time if you can plan. >> if you can. otherwise, be very, very careful. >> right. all right. scott mcgrew is here. you no he what that means. >> gadget friday. >> we love it. scott, what's going on. >> reporter: good morning. today i have something called a 3-d printer. we've been talking about this in the news, right? if you are totally unfamiliar with the concept, it's a printer that prints 3-d engineeried designs. people use this for rapid prototyping. for instance, you can print out a part to double check it's going to fit. unfortunately as you may know some of the biggest press that these 3-d printers have gotten lately have been because a guy managed to print parts for a plastic gun. it fires real bullets. that's led some politicians to wonder if there should be some sort of registration of printers. if you're old enough, you'll

remember there was a push to prevent the spread of copy machines. one of the places you can see the 3-d printers on display is at the fairgrounds. one of our producers said, turn it on. let's print something. honestly, first of all, it gets very hot and very noisy. maybe we'll do it after the news. secondly, it's like watching a crock pot because if i had a crock pot, it would be not that great of a demonstration. the idea is this arm articulates and so this plate moves back and forth. here's the printer cartridge and goo, hot plastic comes out of here, it moves it around. about $1200 for this one. i think you'll see these become much more common. >> right now not real practical but very cool? >> we got laura a vase there. >> a vase? she's been drinking out of it. >> a cup. tumbler or drink out of it.
