little mermaid. and it's military ops and. you get crazy and hit the wall. and bryn said go, mommy, go. and i was like disney is my bitch. we are getting out of here by 5:00. and we did. we talked about disney after dark i want to see what goes on with the princesses after midnight. i do. they don't break character at all. you are like, you want to have a drink don't you? what are you talking about. you are not wearing your mermaid outfit. >> well, ken give me my princess dress. no, i saw you you were wearing the mermaid outfit. no, they don't break. >> ellen: they are not supposed to. >> right, but i would break. >> ellen: it's very exciting we are getting closer and closer to you doing your show. and you are going to do it in new york. and in the shows you did this summer you had a segment bet any in your business, right? and you helped a lot of people. there was somebody that came on

the show and had an idea and you helped her. >> i mean, i only know what went on then and i heard -- >> ellen: you don't know? >> i've kept up with some of the women but this particular woman i gave her advice and i've heard it's been great. i'm excited about this part of the show because i feel like you see the tv shows and it's oh, i had an idea and here we are i'm doing millions of dollars a year. i want the show to show the process and the failures, too. i've had many, many failures in business. business is hard and i want to help women through the process in the beginning so you can see what goes on and what the mistakes are and give people an extra hand. >> ellen: and are you a very, very smart business woman. this is an update. >> i'm amy james and i am the owner of shutter huggers. i was on bet any's talk show because i needed help. i have two kids and work three jobs and a mountain of debt and a struggling business and i got to meet bethenny.

i've loved her for years of the every major decision we made has been sitting at the kitchen table drinking skinny girl margueritas. every morning when i wake up, the first thing i see tonight reminds me never to give up and keep moving forward. my product is shutter huggers and as a mom i was chasing my kids around trying to get them to look at the camera, waving stuff. and we created stuffed animals that hug your camera lens tonight attracts the kids' attention and you get a great shot. >> you want advice, right. so i think, the first thing the good news i think it is a great idea. the packaging needs to look like a camera and this is on it so people walk up and they know what it is. >> off camera bethenny told me to lower my price and it scared me to death. >> your price needs to come down. >> but it meant the world that bethenny took the time to look at my business and give me

[applause] you know, we had 95,000 dollars worth of debt very scary. and so we thought we need every penny we cannot lower the price. and we talked about it and bethenny said do it and we are going to do it. and our sales increased 75%. that is what it looked like before. it looked like a dog toy. and this is the packaging now, right? >> yes. we are so glad you told us to change the packaging. >> and this is the one for the iphone. >> for the iphone. >> ellen: you put it on the iphone and you know, what a smart idea you had. >> little things that make a difference you have to think through everything. you have to think like the customer people don't know and there's so much out there that you have to grab someone's attention. >> ellen: are you still in debt? >> we had $95,000 in debt and that is paid in full.
