this afternoon. bart trains still idle this morning. there was a glimmer of open last night that the strike would end the union sent bart this letter agreeing to wage, health care and pension deals hammered out at the bargaining table. this suggesting the side take the contentious issue of work rules are under vacation. however, bart says the offer will agree to take only the entire deal to arbitration. >> this plan would allow us to reach an agreement without going to the bargaining table and allow us to end the strike immediately on signing. >> we're going to cheri pick one

in fremont this morning. can you see a few more cars in this area as well because of that bart strikes. that continues into this weekend. if you are making plans to head outside, the good news, and, yes, there is some, we're talking about sunshine here in the bay. it's comfortable, low humidity, light winds. anything you want to do outside, it will be spectacular. more good news to pass along to you. we don't have any airport delays to report. the temperature right now at sf 0, 50 degrees. traveling across the nation this morning looks good to go. seattle with a little bit of fog up there. 39 in santa rosa now. if you get back off the to east bay, 49 in liver livermore, close to 50 in san jose.

high pressure has been keeping our skies clear all day long. that sinking air doesn't allow for any rising motion in the atmosphere. that permits any -- sinking air continues over the next 48 hours. lots of compressional warming. we will start off cold with 30s and 40s and that coastal fog is set to return as we head towards monday. even this morning waking up to a little cloud cover in half moon bay but that will clear out. mid 60s by noon and by this afternoon low 70 ds again. not too much archcooling wind down across the coast. >> 81 in redwood city, 82 in
