bay, probably less than a tenth of an inch coming in from the north bay out of this weather system. as quickly as this pattern set up for the weekend we'll see changes early next week. high pressure will reassert itself here, offshore flow and temperatures climbing again. tuesday and wednesday especially we could see 60s and 70s for highs again as we head into next week. for the sierra today, just enough snow to cause some travel days. probably on interstate 80 or highway 50. mainly above 6,000 feet. you may see some brief chain controls going up maybe around early afternoon. but shouldn't last long. again, not a whole lot of snow coming to the sierra but it's better than nothing that we've had in recent days. a little bit of rain today more so for the north bay and peninsula. upper 50s around the peninsula, san mateo, 57 and san francisco upper 50s. to the north bay upper 50s into napa and santa rosa, these will be two of the locationens that should see the most out of this weather system and east bay, oakland, 57 degrees. close to 60 around danville and pleasanton.
