when we got to the detroit airport, we were sitting on the tarmac for an hour. one guy was reading a book calmly. one guy was freaking and screaming and they were both going to get off the plane at the exact same time and one was going to be calmer and live longer. there has to be longer term effects of things like that. >> do you think there was a good reason he was anxious to get some place or -- >> could have been, but the guy had a brief case, clearly going on a trip and looking up. i just thought if i had a choice to be this one or this one, i'd be -- >> that's the point. we do have a choice. now that we know what happens with the brain, we know we have a choice and we can, as you said, retrain ourselves, but we have to practice. it takes practice. it takes commitment. the first and most important question is do i really want to change? because you have to give up all of that stuff. >> all the drama, right. >> is that person that sat on the plane there with hoda the same little kid that said, mommy i want it now when he was little? >> always been that way, do you think? >> probably. it is about being hardwired. some people are more emotional and some people are a little more rational.

something for everyone, golf course, three pools, kids pool, a great spa, a great property. >> another great spot for kids is atlantis in the bahamas. i was just in the bahamas at that hotel. it is beautiful. >> it is a great value in the caribbean. atlantis is the fun side. there are other cool things going on there. the pirates of nassau interactive museum, and fun things like that to do with the kids. atlantis, the rate here for february, you can get a hotel room from $306 a night. that sounds like a splurge, however, there is a really cool promotion where you get a $100 resort credit per room, per stay. you can use that on anything there. they have this aqua adventure water park i'm sure you've been to. 26 acres. that's included in your stay. people that aren't staying there pay upwards of $100 a day for a pass to go there. >> so kid friendly. >> if you want to go to like you did, you went to the cove.
