"early today" starts now. good morning. i'm richard lui. a new storm bringing snow and ice is moving in across 32 state across the country. 118 million americans are in the cross hairs, many of which are digging out from a storm earlier this week. more people are under watches and warnings for this storm than all of last winter. the storm buried parts of the midwest. it's heading northeast. philadelphia, new york and boston will be it by this. with trees there still covered in snow, today's storm could lead to widespread power outages. travel delays is piling up. this southwest jet landing in kansas city safely but ran into a snow bank taxing to the gate. no one on board was hurt. already this morning, nearly 2,000 flights cancel add cross the country, 1200 delayed that

the moment. let's get to meteorologist bill karins. looks like this is going to be a tough one. we've got another one coming. >> 120 million under the warnings yesterday. we got it yesterday with six inches of snow. a lot of people lost power kansas city to maine. 77 million people under the warning. the worst is ending in the ohio valley. it's not a pretty morning in new engine england. 150,000 without power. we have freezing rain outside of baltimore, philadelphia and over the top of new york city. we'll see additional power outages during the day and could see 6 to 12 inches of snow albany to boston. the mountain areas doing worst. the biggest impact will be travel on roads and of course at the airlines. i wouldn't expect many flights

care act could lead to millions of job losses. 2.5 million jobs in fact by 2024 according to the congressional budget office. they predict american workers will cut back on hours or leave the nation's work force entirely. the group previously predicted the law would lead to a loss of 800,000 jobs. john boehner says in a quote, the middle class is getting squeezed in the economy. the white house pushed back saying the possible reduction would be voluntary. >> this is not businesses cutting back on jobs. this is people having new choices they didn't use to have. those are two completely different things in terms of impact on people. >> the wide ranging report shows the budget falling to the lowest
