have a short in your electrical line. is that true? >> it could be. if the whole house is flickering, it is probably something outside. you call your provider. if it's inside. one room you might have a shortage. extension cords quite often can be a cause of fire damage. light weight extension cords. people use them to replace receptacles. >> we have less than a minute. cooking is a huge problem. if you find yourself with a fire on or in the stove, what's the first thing to do? >> cook as good one of the main ways fires start. the first step is to shut off the stove. if i have a grease fire, shut off the stove. second step, take a lid. use a pot holder or glove and use the lid as a shield. most times if there's a little residual fire -- >> don't take it to the sink right? >> one cup of water in grease could fill your whole home. >> most people think water?
