we'll take every little bit we can get because the next few days actually look fairly dry aren't bay area. right now, 50s and 60s outside. high clouds moving across the bay area. us about the winds have changed direction now instead of being kind of warm and muggy with the winds out of the south. we're seeing a northwest breeze pick up to day. that's bringing in cooler and drier air. so unlike this morning where we woke up to temperatures close to 50, tomorrow morning maybe some upper 30s and low 40s in those north bay valleys as the cooler and drier air sinks on n needless to say, nothing really showing up on the radar. the storm track moved off to the north and that next chance of rain coming towards the bay area mainly aimed in on the north bay. we'll take you through monday into tuesday. you notice sonoma county, that's where the action is until about tes evening. this system here from 11:00 tuesday am weaken as it paces through the bay area. so that, believe it or not, is the one opportunity for seeing showers, not a big one at that.
6:48 pm
should see more snow on wednesday. the bigger problem is we move towards next weekend, you're starting to see the changes in the seven-day forecast is the potential for this ridge of high pressure to become a blocking high once again. so right now we're seeing storms off to the north. but we expect what will happen is this high is going to begin to build back off to the north pacific northwest coastline, stopping these storms from reaching the west coast. so you're seeing the changes there at the bottom of the screen. seven-day forecast climbing into the 07's by next sunday. and as this pattern sets up, we could be looking at a dry fin toish february. so hopefully we see changes in this pattern. that is the cause for the warmup to the 7 o's we're expecting right now in your seven-day forecast heading towards next weekend. for tomorrow morning, watch out for patchy thinking fog. we'll see temperatures in the low 60s around san jose. closer to 60 in san francisco. north bay, temperatures in the low 6 o's around napa and santa rosa. we'll see the highs in the 60s. a few other travel spots around the state for your monday, president's day, holiday looks
6:49 pm
