>> from her own beautiful lips she told us that. >> jane seymour. >> another gorgeous woman downstairs. >> they'll talk about the body image thing. and speaking of body image, this gentleman came to my home yesterday, his name is diogo morgado. he is the actor -- the very fine actor who plays jesus in the new upcoming movie "son of god." he came with roma downey to my house who plays his mother mary in the film as well, executive producer along with her husband mark burnett and we had the most unbelievable afternoon. >> i want to hear that podcast. >> i'm telling you, just to spend -- to hear the stories of how they made the movie and to be with them. i think she has the most beautiful speaking voice i'vive ever heard in my life. >> when you meet jesus who will be on today, you'll say to yourself, once you watch the film, there is no one else you can think of who can play jesus other than this guy. because he's outstanding. >> beautifully. >> let's talk about you.

>> what about -- >> you guys have been obviously in the spotlight through all the years. and most people just are able, like, only friends and family see them age really. the world has watched you age. has that been a difficult thing to go through? >> i lost my sight basically, so i don't even notice. >> you don't know what you look like anymore? >> i just -- i've been very fortunate. and i kind of take time to take care of myself as best i can. i made a choice i wanted to age gracefully and have my own face and i wanted all my muscles to move and wanted to play older and younger and all of the above. i feel as an actress, this is my canvas. if i were to paralyze it in any way -- >> i feel the same thing. ditto, ditto. >> the first time you did a script sent to you and it is for a grandmother role, is that -- in the confines of your own

home, do you scream? >> no, no. >> no. >> i went straight and got myself a gray wig. somebody said you're going to be a grandmother. i said i already am. i have three grandchildren. i am a grandmother. but i did the american girl, long gray wig and it was fabulous. i do play another older woman and i enjoy that. >> i think to be told the woman is boring, that would be something. to be told you're aging a bit, whatever, that's sort of all right. but to be mentally boring would, to me, be frightening. >> that's the kiss of death as a performer too anyway. >> as a woman, that would be insulting. but -- >> you talk a lot about that, your internal person. >> you're inside out. >> it is funny, i think people's flaws -- it is funny how they melt away. when someone comes at you with their eyes, you don't really notice all the -- >> from each other. we want each other's feedback.

such a fan of the film and of the bible series and to meet -- there we are, with bambino. >> we had a lovely lunch. >> so good. >> it is great to see you as a -- as you in modern day life. and what reaction do you get from most people? >> first of all, it is -- they look at me like i know you somewhere. but they don't -- because of the hair and the facial hair and everything. >> you're not wearing a robe and sandals? >> no. i'm not in sandal mode, no. but it is -- once they recognize me, they reach out to me and it is wonderful. >> the cast must have been incredible. i watched it last night. i looked to you and thought to myself, my gosh, you speak when you're not speaking. like, there is a presence about you on camera. how did this role come about? how did you get it? >> i'm happy you asked that. it was important to me. people tend to grab on to words. and sometimes they forget about the wider message of those

words. and it was all about love. and compassion and so i really invested everything then, that i am, and i became available to fullness, to give that body of before and after those words. >> you said yesterday you were overwhelmed, though, by the thought of being embodying this person in history who means so much to so many people. >> exactly, exactly. >> but from those -- >> i freaked out. i was in shock. i was in panic. i knew the responsibility. and, i mean, i went to jerusalem, you know, and while i was there, i felt on my own being the importance of the story and so alive. >> i think what is great about this film, there are a lot of scenes everybody knows about, like walking on water. you wonder how is that going to be depicted in such a way that it is authentic. there is such authenticity to this movie, right?

>> we have the technology to, you know, fulfill, visual ways of actually going to be blown by it. 50 years ago, we didn't have that technology to visualize all this wonderful miracle. >> i think it is wonderful, the best thing about it is that it doesn't answer -- we always -- we talk about who killed jesus and it doesn't -- it is why, why pontius pilate had to do what he did. and why jesus -- everybody was protecting their kingdom. >> exactly, exactly. that's exactly -- it is a political thriller as well. it has not only -- the thing about this movie that i really enjoy and i'm really proud of, it is epic. it is a big scale, but it is also a really personal and intimate story. and it is a close-up of the whole life of jesus, the whole thing. since the nativity. doesn't end at the crucifixion. goes through the resurrection. it is wonderful.

honey, cinnamon sugar. got that dough proofed and ready to go. we like to stuff it with cream cheese. i'll have you, miss kathie, just take this piping bag right here. we rolled out this dough. we'll go ahead and pipe a little line about right here on top of that dough, all the way across. this is going to ensure moisture and give you sort of something a little added -- something special. >> and over here, we're going to go ahead and roll this. a little jelly roll and stuff it, keep going, keep going, keep going. egg wash and pinch and crimp and pinch and crimp and pinch and crimp. got that? and we sort of form that and bring it back around and i call this the anaconda. it will proof and we proof a second time. egg wash it and bake it in the oven. i want you to drop this in here. this is how we cover the sugar. screw that on there real quick while we're finishing it over here. a little more might do it.
