good for him. >> how was yours? >> well, mine was unbelievably packed. you can hear my voice, i am -- this is the best reason in the world to be hoarse. i laughed and cried all weekend long. i'll take my favorite thing because it was part of my weekend. on friday night, some new friends of mine, the clarks from australia, invited me to go to a dinner -- >> say it. >> at hugh jackman and deborra-lee furness' home. you talk about pinch yourself. i met hugh many times through the years and he's the most generous, most gentlemanly star there is. just no one quite like him. he's kind to everybody. so i already loved him. then i met deborra, who had been sick and still got out of a sick bed and greeted everybody so beautifully. i can't say what the dinner was about, because they're going to be announcing it at the united nations. probably in the fall. but leave it at this. there are apparently 143 million

children without families, orphans in this world. if you put them all together in one place, it would be the ninth biggest nation. they have a plan for that. and they have hearts big enough to actually accomplish it. so i was not only pinching myself, but they so reminded me of paul newman who many of us were blessed to know, who really totally understood the concept of if much is given, much is required. he used every ounce of his celebrity to make the world a better place and raise hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. every penny went to newman's own. i was honored. >> the other thing you pointed out was how hugh jackman looks at his wife. you were talking about this in the makeup room. >> we all went around the table and said why we were there. i said, i don't know why i'm here. i'm just blessed. but he stood up and basically

lot about weight loss success and variety of foods. she's done just the opposite. i think that repeating what you eat is helpful for a lot of people because it is safe, it is comfortable, you know what you're getting and it removes tempting options. >> guilt. >> everyone must be freaking out? >> right. >> she has a green smoothie in the morning. for lunch, a turkey wrap with lettuce, apples and carrots and makes this delicious ratatouille chicken concoction with brown rice. >> okay. andrew is 41 years old, from danvers, massachusetts. at heaviest, 385 pounds in this picture. i think a lot of guys will relate to this. he played football in high school. so he was big and strapping. he was overweight, but kind of works. >> depending what position you're playing, it works. >> exactly. when he graduated, he no longer played football, he continued to eat -- >> the way he did as a player. >> right. and he gained an exorbitant amount of weight.

he's a paramedic. he was on the ambulance, he got an emergency call, there was a patient, an obese man was stuck in a basement apartment. him and his three partners on the ambulance had to get this man up on to a stretcher and up a flight of stairs into the ambulance. and andrew could hardly do it. he was gasping, he was weak and he realized at that moment that not only was his own health at risk, so was the patients' health as well. >> here is andrew's before picture. >> all right, andrew. come join us. >> and, by the way, he's single. >> single? >> single. >> are you -- well -- >> come on over. my goodness. >> he did it through jenny craig because it was easy for him, meals were delivered, he worked with the consultant and they taught him how to do everything. >> we want to say congrats to the joy fit members. great job. coming up, you have to have a sense of humor to work for her demanding boss.
