malaysian airlines plane now missing for four days. but this morning we are getting our first look at the two men traveling on the plane with stolen passports. and now we're just learning both have no link to terrorism. for more on this developing story let's go to bob redell live in the newsroom. >> reporter: good morning. that coming from malaysian police and interpol saying it's becoming more and more convinced those two men do not have links to terrorism. both men are from iran, both traveled to kuala lumpur using iranian passports then switched to the stolen passports to board flight 370 from kuala lumpur to beijing. this is an image of one of the men, delavar seyed mohammadreza. the other man is there, 19-year-old eouria mhrdad.

his final destination was supposed to be frankfurt where his mom was awaiting his arrival. she contacted police wondering where he was. i.d.'d her son. police believe he was using the stolen passport to migrate to germany. they don't believe he has ties to terrorist groups but aren't ruling out the possibility that someone else tried to bring down flight 370. >> we are looking into four areas. one is hijacking, two, sabotage, three, psychological problem of the passengers and crew, and four, personal problem among the passengers and the crew. >> reporter: as for an earlier statement there were five passenger who is checked in but did not board the flight, the police say that is not true, there were four passenger who is booked that flight but never checked in and never checked bags. there's also news to report on the search for the 777. the malaysian military says its

military tracked flight 370 in a location much further away than suggested by air traffic control. i want you to look at this map. this shows you can see that area of kuala lumpur t flight was supposed to head north to beijing. and initially police or excuse me, searchers were focusing on an area in the south china sea which is north of malaysia. now military is saying it tracked the flight over the strait of malaka and in that is of course along the western coastline of malaysia. new information, malaysian military saying its radar did track flight 370 in a different location than originally suggested. >> thank you, bob. we do have continuing coverage of the missing flight on air and on our website nbcbayarea.com. you can get the latest on our home page. >> a follow-up, investigators

still waiting to talk to the san francisco police officer shot in the arm while responding to a call in the mission district over the weekend. they are hoping adam shaw can shed some light into what happened. the shooting led to a manhunt through four counties and ended in this arrest at a san jose gas station. police say the suspect jeffrey reano had bullets in his pocket but no gun. they are trying figure out if he shot the officer or if shaw was actually hit by friendly fire. shaw's partner did fire his weapon several times as the suspect car backed up towards them. >> homeland security helping the alameda county sheriff's department track down the person or people who stole an east bay utility truck. it was found abandoned in castro valley but still no sign of a worker i.d., tools and gear. officials say if someone claiming to be an east bay utility district employee shows

up to the house, ask for i.d. and make sure the person matches the picture. >> more than 24 hours after a 6.9 earthquake struck off the coast of eureka, the region was rattled with dozens of aftershocks, the ground has calmed down today. there has not been an after shock for several hours but more than two dozen hit the area since yesterday morning. the biggest of 4.6. yesterday's 6.9 caught on surveillance video at a store. a little bit of shaking you can see something falling off shelves. some sort of scared critter will run down and seek shelter. the police department says no reports of serious damage, no injuries. >> efforts to save an iconic san jose movie theater from being torn down could clear a major hurdle. >> marianne favro joins us at the theater winchester boulevard with more details. good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you. well, if you have never seen a movie here at the century 21

theater across from santana row you better hurry. they are scheduled to show the last movie on march 31. century 21 opened in 1964, an old ad highlighted the opening. now nearly five decades later the owners want to strike a deal to develop this property for mixed use buildings and that would likely destroy the dome. a preservation action council of san jose is working to preserve all three domes in this location but especially century 21. the executive director talked to us last week. >> the architecture and the time period it represented and that it's architecturally intact. it has been changed little from the time. >> reporter: city council member pete constant is not convinced. >> i don't think there is any purpose in preserving that theater. whether you look at it from a historic point of view, let's face it it's younger than i am and i'm 50 years old. >> reporter: so far the

preservation action council has collected more than 5,000 signatures from people who support saving the dome. tonight san jose's land marks commission will look at a proposal to designate the dome a historical landmark and provide comments for the state historical resources commission which meets in pacific grove on april 22. the overall goal is try to designate this dome as a national historical landmark but even if that does happen this dome could still be born counsel. marianne favro, "today in the bay." >> thank you. a lot of people remember seeing star wars for the first time in that dome. >> you can see the star tins sky this morning. pretty clear out there. a little wind expected. >> we've got wind out there and i'll never forget the first time i saw hans solo. i bet you won't either. good morning to you. we do have the wind. here is the deal with the wind. are you going to cross the

golden gate bridge soon? this is what you're working with, especially if you are headed from san francisco into the north bay. you've got the wind sustained at 20 miles per hour right in your face. so that could make for difficult travel especially if you have a high-profile vehicle, give yourself extra time and take it easy out there. overall it's comfortable. 50 degrees in oakland and 55 in san jose. i want to see your pictures of spring. we might share them on the weather wall. we want to show people how spring has sprung in the bay area. it's green, everything is in bloom, temperatures are going to reflect the warmer season. 69 degrees in san francisco, north bay at stwofrn and the south bay is at 72 degrees tlaxt is comfortable. let's talk about where we're headed. there are big changes headed our way especially along the peninsula. beautiful picture of stanford, 80 degrees there on friday. then into the weekend we keep

that climb going up to 81 by saturday. 85 degrees on sunday. we don't even officially kick off spring until the 20th of this month. this is going to come on quickly. we're tracking showers in the distant future. we'll talk about that coming up. here is mike. >> look at this. traffic tuesday because of the heavier volume, under five minutes for that and then you see this the last four minutes, continuing to pack in so it's at 6:00. there is the build out of oakland toward san francisco. the bridge moves smoothly as you see from our sensors, folks are held up at the toll plaz. a smooth drive across the east shore freeway and off 24 as well out of the caldecott tunnel approaching the maze. around the bay nothing unexpected as far as traffic patterns but watching this first tuesday after that time change we'll see some disruptions, probably compressing our commute about 7:30. this is a big slowdown for southbound 680.

having a problem getting through at this point but not a lot of traffic at the intersection as well. we'll keep tabs on it. >> here is our top stories interpol says two iranian men who used stolen passports to board that missing malaysian airlines jet don't hold a terror threat. the plane disappeared during a flight to beijing. 239 aboard. crews are expanding the search this morning, no sign of the wreckage yet. >> ukraine's acting president call forward the formation of a national guard in order to counter russian military aggression. he also wants to mobilize reserves and volunteers into the country's armed forces. >> cvs could have to pay $29 million in fines after authorities say thousands of pills from four northern california stores may have been sold on the black market. the dea found discrepancies between the pharmacy's records and inventory, all those missing pills are painkillers. >> senate democrats back to bed

now after pulling an all nighter. they spent dusk to dawn on the floor talking about global warming. harry reid led the talk-a-thon. he says climate change is quote a question of our own survival. >> seriousness of this climate problem is not lost on our average american. the vast majority of americans believe climate change is real. they believe it's here. >> 28 senators participated though democratic leaders have no plans to bring a climate bill to the floor this year. >> an army general accused of sexual assault is considering a plea deal this morning. general sinclair accused of forcing sex with a female officer under his command while stationed in afghanistan. the general admits to an affair but not to assault. recently discovered e-mails show prosecutors may have been under political pressure from congress to get a conviction. the defense has not said if it's going to take the deal. >> a student leader has been

shot and killed in venezuela after a long day of street clashes the mayor says the student died after security forces attacked and tore down barricades. local stations say there are unconfirmed reports of at least two others injured by gunfire. the student-led protest started last month. this is new video where protesters are seen throwing objects at police who responded with tear gas. they are angry about a number of topics including inflation and rising crime. >> japan is marking the third anniversary of its devastating earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster. ♪ singers performed at special ceremony in tokyo attended by the prime minister, emperor and empress, then in a moment of silent player held across the country, tribute to 15,000 killed, 2600 other people remain

missing. >> right now hundreds of people are cut off in montana because of swollen rivers and roads. >> more rain and snow expected. the flooding could get worse. this is from the town of roundup where people are heading out because of rising water. in fact, 30 of the 56 counties under high water. >> this morning the national guard joining the fight to protect two towns threaten bid high water in wyoming. as you can see, troops are working to stack up sandbags to protect the towns. >> 28 miles east of seattle, washington a couple worked in waist deep water to save chickens from drowning in coops. farms are flooded. >> a lot of flooding. things warming up before we see rain again? >> we are going to see some rain, i believe at the end of the month. good morning to you. it's 6:17 now as you get your

day started. i want to help you plan the wardrobe because you want to think about the two different parts to the day. in the south bay at 55 degrees, good morning to you. the peninsula at 54, we're almost at 60 to kick off your tuesday in san francisco. we also have wind, part of the reason why it's so warm in san francisco is because of this wind straight out of the north pushing right to the south. and if you're driving up the golden gate bridge from san francisco into marin county you're right against the wind. so you want to keep that in mind. overall our wind direction is shifting offshore which negates the warm influence. high pressure builds in as we head throughout the day. so let me talk about what we can expect. "today in the bay," tri-valley, the peninsula t two microclimates i'm going to focus on. clear and cold in the tri-valley to start, then a 30-degree temperature jump. look at dublin, 74 by 4:00 p.m. patchy clouds, then rapid

warming. palo alto 62 degrees at lunch time, 69 degrees by 4:00 p.m. so it's going to be warm. about 5 degrees warmer than where we ended up yesterday. throughout the next couple days temperatures keep on climbing. we're going to end up 10 to 15 degrees above average by tend of the week into the weekend. you'll notice that right there at the bottom of your screen. let's look at what you can expect in san francisco and san jose. temperatures are going to be comfortable. gilroy, 75 degrees. the best chance of 90 by saturday, and sunday is the peak of it. by the end of the week into the weekend thinking about summer. let's check your drive right now. >> first of all look at the bay bridge toll plaza. this is traffic tuesday we have the backup and all of the lane, metering lights just turned on. here is the build, a slower drive off the berkeley curve. that's where things start to stack up over toward that area.

a clear view t view is great. we'll look at the maps, talking about wind across the bay bridge. chp issued an advisory. might get gusty. the rest of the bay, i'll call out this spot for the east bay. southbound 680 jams up. we had one car stuck in the middle of the freeway, two lanes were blocked southbound so coming around the bend out of sunol to washington irvington district it got slow. chp just arrived. and this will make for possibly trying to get off at auto mall if the off ramp is clear. so far waiting to get details there. now the rest of the south bay, down there for 680 it's a smooth drive. northbound not a problem. that first person we saw for 101 looking getter. watch for it to kick in. northbound 87 moves into downtown. that's where we see the speeds coming down into the upper 50,

not a big concern, not an unusual for that portion of the bay. with the wind advisory across the bay bridge watch these bridges on the high rises as well. a water main break in the city here, it's here off the panhandle of the golden gate bridge. i think our chopper is overhead. there we go. there is the water there at the corner you can see the intersection, it doesn't look like so much of an issue but creeping around the bend and could be a problem. i think the 6 and 71-l they go through. you see water is widespread as far as slick conditions. there is a car there. but no traffic control so be careful. stop, we're tracking this into and out of san francisco moving smoothly. back to you. >> we'll check back with you. 6:21 now. sergeant suing the city saying he has been harassed ever since he reported what one detective

said at the scene of whitney houston's death. the detective kneeling by the singer's body removed a sheet and said she was, quote, still looking good and other similar communities. houston was 48 when she drowned two years ago. weir was harassed, removed from the s.w.a.t. team and canine units and denied promotions because he reported the remarks. >> a woman is searching for her biological mother three decades after she was found abandoned in a burger king bathroom. she says she is getting tens of thousands of people to help. in 1986, catherine was found wrapped in a red sweater at a burger king in allen town, pennsylvania when she was hours old. this month she posted a photo on her facebook page asking for help by sharing the picture. it's been shared 27,000 times, to users around the world. she'd like to thank her birth mother for not throwing her away

bell. it is tuesday, march 11th, and here comes the bell on the nasdaq. this is "today in the bay." good morning. it's 6:30. i'm scott mcgrew. >> i'm laura garcia-cannon. this morning the u.s. is sending some of its top investigators to help in the search for that missing jetliner off the coast of malaysia. for the latest let's go live to tracie potts in washington, d.c. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. first of all there are new developments this morning on what may or may not have happened to the plane. but also the u.s. is heavily involved. take a look, a number of agencies in the u.s. are involved. the ntsb, the national transportation safety board, the faa, they sent a couple of investigators, so has the ntsb, to malaysia. the fbi, they were helping out with fingerprints with those

passports that were stolen, the navy, they sent a number of assets to help in the search. now, the new information this morning, a couple of people who were on that plane with stolen passports may not have anything to do with its disappearance. one was a 19-year-old who was on the flight we're told, trying to seek asylum in germany, they don't think he has terrorist links. another man with him also iranian, we're waiting to hear more about him. they have photos and they have authorities there have identification for both of those. now, as for the plane, and what happened to it, they were looking on the eastern coast of malaysia where plane was last known to be. now that search has expanded to the western coast of malaysia because there were seven hours of fuel on board so authorities say they are not sure if the plane turned around, if it went in a different direction, if it went an auto pilot. they don't know. as of this morning the u.s. and

nine other nations are trying to help answer that question. back to you. >> so many families want to know. thanks so much. >> there are eerie reports that some passengers' cell phones ring but nobody picks up. according to report in china 19 families signed a statement saying they called the phones, heard a ring when they dialed their love one's phones. ringing could mean the network is searching for the phone. if it can't find the phone the call will end. so the phone can ring maybe four times for you but the person you're calling may not hear anything or for that matter the phone may not even work. >> a soldier is pleading with cupertino-based apple to give him a new iphone. staff sergeant sean frank had the iphone in his pocket during his second tour in afghanistan when a bomb filled with ball bearings exploded. the shrapnel hit frank everywhere except in his front left pocket where he kept the iphone. frank wants to keep the iphone as memento but he needs a new

phone, his sister says apple told him either keep the damaged phone or get a new one but not both. >> he needs the new iphone, apple. please. i'm so proud of him. he's my hero. >> his family says it's been months and frank still doesn't have a phone. they are still trying to get apple to change its decision. >> they want to study it first. bullet proof. time to check the forecast this morning. a live look outside. that's a pretty look downtown san jose. i want to check the forecast with christina. >> hey, good morning to you. happy tuesday. hopefully you're happy that monday is a thing of the past. we move forward in the week, temperatures are going to climb. 50 degrees in oakland to kick off the day. at 55 here in beautiful san jose. 50 degrees in san martin. livermore at 52. the hills are beautiful and green again. i can tell you we're going to see about 7 to 10 days of dry weather. there is more rain on the way toward the end of the month.

it's a pretty good looking system. every time i check it looks more and more promising. we're still 10 to 15 days out. cool and clear, breezy through the hills, we head throughout the day this is what you can expect. temperatures are going to be nice and comfortable, unseasonably warm. if you want to make outdoor plans, lunch on the water action fantastic. temperatures in the 70s, just about everywhere. sunset tonight at 7:12. we have a dry air mass your temperatures are going to drop like a rock once we lose our energy source that sunshine. 72 degrees in the south bay, 72 along the peninsula, 74 for the east bay and 69 degrees in san francisco. comfortable conditions. i want to take a look at the week ahead. cool morning, quick rapid warm-up in the afternoon. i'm telling you between about lunch time and 4:00 p.m. we're going to climb 10 to 15 degrees in some cases. by the end of the week upper 70s, low 80s, by the weekend we'll trade those in for 80s and some 90s. saturday and sunday look to be the warmest.

saturday the giants are back on nbc bay area. and they are taking on the a's. chances are you like one of these two teams, we're so excited to have the giants back on our air. especially mike inouye. >> thank you. thank you. looking over -- that's a wonderful thing, san francisco giants, a water main thing not such a great thing. the chopper overhead. this is off wallace from what i understand. the update from sf water and power and sewer it's six-inch water main break on 700 block of waller. if it was on hit i was going to say it was is 6 and 71 lines but here we don't see tracks and we don't see problems but traffic is having to divert around that one corner where the water is flooding into the streets so more details on those affected but so far no water crews at the scene. this is in the city, traffic into and out of is moving smoothly.

this is off the panhandle off golden gate park so that gives you an idea where that is. so van ness is clear to cut through the city storks is 19th. no pob here. looking at a smooth drive around the bay as we're looking at the traffic tuesday start to kick in. the south bay, starting to hit and here look at this, southbound 680 we still have a car blocking two lanes southbound 680 in fremont. approaching auto mall parkway, two lanes are blocked and a spin-out and the tow truck may take 15 to 20 minutes to get there. right where the off ramp, signs there. westbound 237, starting to recover after a new crash cleared as you head out of the milpitas area, head over to the off ramps and 101, lanes are clear 237 but a slow drive which would kick off about now. the rest of the south bay moves. >> 6:36. still ahead a hockey player collapses in the middle of a game. >> it's pandemonium and panic

the malaysian military may have tracked the missing malaysian jetliner far from where it last made contact with air traffic control. the search for the missing flight has been expanded to include the strait of malacca. for more details on this developing story let's go to bob redell. he joins us live in the newsroom. >> good morning. there are also media reports that searchers found a fragment of possibly a door or window from the 777 that disappeared on friday. the u.s. navy which is helping out in the search said this morning that it cannot confirm that has happened. the malaysian military as you mentioned believes it tracked malaysian airlines flight 370 in

a location much further than the location suggested by civilian air traffic control, you look at this map of malaysia, north of kuala lumpur, authorities saying they lost contact in that area, the military now saying its radar tracked the flight over the strait of malacca on the left side along the country's western coastline. you can see there's a big difference between the south china sea and the malacca strait. it's expanded to include that body of water and the land itself. this morning police also identified the two men traveling on stolen passports. both men are from iran, one is 19-year-old pouri nour mohammadi. his ticket was purchased in thailand, one way to beijing. his final destination was supposed to be frankfurt, germany where his mother was waiting for him. she has spoke tune police. police are now convinced he was

not involved in the disappearance of flight 370. >> we believe that he is not likely to be a member of any terrorist group. and we believe that he's trying to migrate to germany. >> this is the photo of the other iranian man traveling with mhrdad. 29-year-old delevar seyed mohammad reza, interpol is also becoming more convinced that reza and mhrdad were not terrorists. they wonder if he was being smuggled or trachked. they have not ruled out the possibility that someone else tried to bring down flight 370. this morning malaysian police say they are focusing on four possibilities. you can see them there. hijacking, sabotage, psychological problems with the passengers and/or crew, or personal problems with the passengers and/or crew.

reporting live in the newsroom, bob redell, "today in the bay." >> thank you, bob. >> one of the questions emerging in the disappearance in this day and age of technology why is it so hard to find a missing plane? >> it was last seen on radar over the south china sea. experts say all flights beyond 120 miles offshore use gps to determine their exact location, then communicate those coordinates to the ground. for many routes around the world the gap between communication can be as long as an hour. >> planes are operating all parts of the world with varying technology and getting the data back to controllers is the difficult. >> not only is it difficult to pinpoint and where the plane may have hit the water. it's difficult to estimate how far it may have traveled after that. >> it can glide a long way under the water to a completely different location. they don't go straight down with currents and a lot of other stuff, can cover a lot of distance before it settles. >> even if the plane's black box is submerged it will emit a

differences. in the various microclimates of the bay area. today i want to focus on the pens pen and the tri-valley, then we'll look at san francisco and san jose. so patchy clouds, rapid warming along the peninsula. you might find a little bit of fog, ragged patches, overall we're looking g. a nice warm day across the bay area for the tri-valley. a clear and cold start leads to a 30-degree jump in your temperatures. and i want to show you your day part forecast for dublin as that sun starts to come up. gorgeous out here this morning. we are going to see st. patrick's day monday. temperatures are going to stay warm for st. patrick's day and all of the irish people who like to enjoy it even if you're not irish so a good time. don't get caught punching the wrong person. 69 in san francisco, 72 along the peninsula and yes, i have been caught, scott. i saw that eyebrow go right up. today comfortable. these are -- our air quality is good.

open up the windows and let it in. it's going to be beautiful out there. and that wind will get things moving. warming trend begins today, really kicks in. here is san francisco and san jose. to show you the difference, our temperatures are going to be close until about thursday. then we see that divide. 80 degrees in the south bay, 73 in san francisco. mid 70s for the weekend in san francisco. in mid-80s in san jose, gilroy easily hitting the 90s so. the warming trend begins and really kicks in. the seven-day forecast right there at the bottom of your screen. let's check your drive all across the bay area. it's a big bay area, mike, good morning. >> it is a big bay area and getting across from one side to the other, the bay bridge, a big part of that. here's the backup we have off of 880, and coming off of the maze. the meetering lights were turned on at 6:00. nothing unusual, though, across the span. that is good news. we get to the maps and the flow around the bay. typical slowing for 880 and 101

not showing anything unusual for the peninsula drive. we're looking here, this is a big jam. the tri-valley, traffic building for 580 westbound, southbound 680, all heading down here, fremont heads up folks. southbound 680 is jammed out of sunol all the way to auto mall parkway. the crash is still in the two middle lanes. a huge problem. you can try to cut down through mission boulevard. not a great avenue because there are a lot of stop signals. so stick on 680, two flatbed tow trucks should be there before 7:00. hoping to clear that soon. auto mall parkway t cut to take, things clear up heading to mission boulevard where things move much more smoothly. there may be more cutting through the area. keep that in mind for surface streets as well. the rest of the south bay your typical northbound build, we had a slowdown west of 237 over to first an earlier crash did clear but kicked off the slowing, that will stick around.

these continue to build 101, 280 and 85 a new crash around highway 17 should clear quickly. nothing dramatic there. a look at palo alto. southbound we see the build as well for university avenue. slow there, and also the sunlight hits you in the eyes. that's later in the commute so you might not be expecting it. i'm preparing you. 280 out of the hills, here's southbound 101 spoofs with a lot of company starting to build. nothing unusual through central san rafael and the golden gate bridge. >> federal investigators say thousands of drugs may have been sold on the black market. according to the l.a. times the special agent with the dea served warrants on the store in modesto and fairfield, dixon and turlock. the de, dea found discrepancies between the pharmacy records and its inventory. all of the missing pills are painkillers. cvs is accused of almost 3,000

violations of the controlled substances act, the company may have to pay as much as $29 million in fines. >> 6:53. national safety investigators are back out at a refinery. two contractors were doing maintenance at the refinery when they were splashed with acid. one worker has been released from the hospital but the other is still receiving treatment. just last month two workers were also burned by acid at the refinery. they survived. the federal safety board is investigating bot incidents but has not received full cooperation. >> a follow-up a fremont little league team rebuilding one more time after an intentionally set fire to one of its facilities. this is the shell what if was the team's new score booth on warm spring elementary school campus just built because the

previous burned down. the booth, a classroom and james leech elementary school and a bathroom at the warm spring park were set on fire but they are not going so far to say there is a serial arsonist on the loose. >> prosecutors calling it mistaken identity. they say theodore lorigo a registered sex offender is not the same person seen at a day school in sunnyvale. lorigo was arrested for being a registered sex offender on school property but turns out it wasn't lorigo, and now the charges are being dropped. lorigo pleaded guilty a fake i.d., he changed his i.d. to reflect his self-selected female name without going through the government. >> the fight to conserve water in the south bay. a million customers will soon be asked to follow the toughest water restrictions in five years. the goal is to cut water use by

20%. if approved by the puc san jose water would ask customers to repair leaks in five days, stop washing down sidewalks and patios and stop watering during the day. >> if there is egregious going on we can go to the customer and make sure they understand and that we have the ability to either put them on a low flow restriction or shut off service. >> san jose water says its focus is on education, not enforcement at least for now. >> the san jose council will discuss a possible pilot program to put some homeless in hotel rooms. the plan is to lease vacant motel rooms to shelt are the homeless while nonprofits help find them jobs and permanent housing. it will cost about a million dollars each year for 60 people. city leaders probably won't vote on it yet. >> the iconic dome theaters could be saved thanks to movie

fans. >> marianne favro joins us by the century 21 theater with the details on the efforts to try to save that complex. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. they certainly are trying to save it. century 21 opened in 1964 and hundreds in the south bay remember watching the movie star wars at this theater. on march 31, it's set to show its last movie. the owners of the property want to develop it and would likely destroy the domes. the preservation action counsel of san jose is working to preserve all three, especially the oldest. the executive director talked to us last week. >> the architecture and the time period that it represented and the architecturally intact. it has been changed very little from the time. it was representative of that period. >> reporter: city council member pete constant disagrees. >> i don'ts think there really is any purpose in preserving

that theater. whether you look at it, it's younger than i am and i'm 50 years old. >> reporter: so far the preservation action council selected more than 5,000 signatures from people who support saving the dome. tonight san jose's historic landmarks commission will look at a proposal to designate it a historical landmark and provide comments for the state historical resources commission which meets on april 22. the hope is to have the dome designated a national historical landmark but even if that does happen that does not mean that this dome will be saved. reporting live in san jose.
