the thin band of rain going to move through early this morning. this is at 8:30 over towards walnut creek, oakland, san francisco getting in on that as well, even down towards half moon bay and look what happens by 9:30 continues to stay very organized and very heavy rain will continue to fall through the santa cruz mountains and eventually by noon this stuff pushes down to san jose and livermore as well. and look at 5:00, it's all out of here. but the clouds will stay, so overall even though we'll get done with the rain at least by daylight, i don't think we're going to see a whole lot of sunshine just because the clouds will really hang on tightly and that will keep temperatures down. only in the 60s and the 50s at the coast. here comes the next storm system. this one expected to move through heading into monday night, into tuesday and that's the one i think we'll be more concerned about for the potential for severe weather. microclimate forecast very uniform. near 60 degrees in every single location from morgan hill to san jose and even san mateo at 60. san francisco going to struggle to get out of the 50s for today,
7:49 am
even sausalito, 57 degrees. walnut creek you'll be at 59. and livermore right at 59 as well as i mentioned the rain's with us for today and the sierra snow is going to continue to pile up through the day and for tomorrow winter storm warning already posted and will continue through tomorrow morning within an additional two feet expected across the area. the bad news is that it's raining on the weekend! but, hey, we need the rain. >> we do need the rain. we keep saying that. thank you very much, anthony. british doctors announced the first documented case of people catching tuberculosis from their cats. in a new report public health officials say there are four patients who came down with the disease last year. that is after being in contact with domestic cats connected to a tb outbreak. according to animal experts the cats may have been infected after eating rodents that picked up tuberculosis or fighting with badgers who also carry the disease. they say the risk to cat owners
