5:02 am
he was conscious and talking. whether or not he said anything that will help the investigation, the lieutenant was not clear on that. that goes to my next point, there have been no arrests. you come back out here live, a lexus parked in the middle of the street, the driver's door is still open and they're also still taking photographs to the right of that on the sidewalk. the shooting may have taken place on the sidewalk and not clear what role that car has if the man who was shot was the driver of that car or the driver is awol and somehow related to the scene. so, again, a man in his 30s shot, badly hurt in the hospital right now. officers are monitoring his condition. they're still looking for the person who shot this man. they've also been canvassing the neighborhoods where they have speaking to people trying to figure out what happened. again, just before 3:00 this morning in south san jose. bob redell, "today in the bay." >> bob, thank you. happening now, oscar pistorius is still on the stand
