in the cold ocean waters. 55 others are hurt. the ferry was carrying them to a tourist island. this video shows them being lifted to a ferry. the death toll is likely to rise. as many people could be trapped under water. it is still unclear what caused that ferry to sink. he willgin us for an update in the next half hour. >> police are trying to figure out what happened after two people were shot outside of a target store. the one on mcdonald avenue. officers say they heard gunshots and when they arrived on the scene, the victims were gone. one is in critical condition the other okay.

>> the man convicted of killing a teen will be back in court today. investigators say they have evidence that torres kidnapped and murdered the teen in 2012. lamar disappeared while walking to her bus stop in 2012. torres was arrested a short time later but his lawyers needed time to look over the evidence. >> residents returned home before 8:00 to find that her house had been ransacked not too far from the midtown shopping center. the woman said that she saw two people talking inside. police stopped the car blocks away and arrested a 15-year-old. fire investigators trying to

figure out what sparked this fire in san francisco. intense flames and thick black smoke. the fire broke out in lecastro. the flames shot through the roof of that penthouse. nine people getting help from the red cross. bad boys be aware if you commit a crime in san jose, you could end up on tv. the popular tv show "cops" will be shooting with the police department. officials believe that appearing in the show will boost moral and recruit officers. this is the first time that the show will feature the bay area police department. city advisers did approve that plan. the plan would allow sheriff's deputies to fill in on watches.
