because crews had to cut a hole in their roof due to a five. we are told a man and two other people who lived there were not hurt and weren't home at the ti time. they were at the hospital because the man had strep throat. firefighters had to cut a hole in the roof to get to those flames. happening now, a storm bringing heavy rain and flooding throughout the south after a violent and deadly tornado out break. you can see traffic at a stand still. the rain pouring onto the roet roadway and onto cars. >> this is video showing a tow truck towing a mini van. some tornado watches and warnings were still in effect this morning for florida, alabama, georgia, north carolina

was discovered good morning. >> reporter: good morning to you this sounds like a plot in a movie that is almost unbelief anl when you hear the details. he is still in custody here where he is facing his original charges. but also new charges that he took part in a scheme to try and hire a hitman to try and kill some of this alleged victims he is facing 75 charges. according to prosecutors, an in formant turned in letters that were looking for a hitman. and then an undercover man went to the jail posing as that

hitman. prosecutors say that, inspector hold him that a mechanic could quote fix a car for him. and made a gun motion with his hand and prosecutors say he mouthed the victim's names including one victim who is now 21 years old. he said he would pay for the murders up front and suggested that he take the victim's cell phone phones so that it would look like a robbie. any word on suspects so far?

>> no, police don't have ps suspects nor do they have a motive. they don't have any word on the woman killed in that apartment. police left the scene they still don't know who stabbed her to death and why. when officers arrived earound 3:00 yesterday afternoon, they found her with a stab wound. it did not matter. she was pronounced dead on the scene. neighbors tell us she moved in a few months ago. and kept to herself.

convicted of murdering a high school graduate. he received the first inject in the state's new three drug combination. he began convulsing and trying to get off the table the shades were lowered and a doctor ordered the execution halted. he died of a heart attack. >> this was a horrible thing to witness. he said something is wrong he said man at one point. he kept trying to raise up. >> this lack of transparency is not just in oklahoma, but in other states that out source their drugs. states have sourced their own drugs and are refusing to reveal where the drugs are coming from. states should not use cruel and

bad air. barely a b failing and san francisco got an a. these grades are for ozone which has been a challenge in california. but that is not the only challenge. particle pollution is in this report. it is the smog that continues to be a problem. la is the the top of those lists of cities with poor smog problems. now they want to look at what they do here. almost half of america 147 million people are living in areas with unhealthy air. just yesterday the supreme court of the united states ruled that states that are polluting and that goes over the state line the federal government can get involved in helping to regulate

we are live outside that apartment complex today. what is the latest? >> good morning to you. police here still trying to figure out who killed this woman and why. you can see behind the unit where she lived people lift flowers and candles here. neighbors tell us that this woman had moved in that unit a few months ago collecting evidence from her unit. they still don't know who stabbed her to death and why. officers arrived around 3:00 and found here with at least one stab wound. this happened near the regional medical center. it did not matter. she was pronounced dead on the scene. neighbors tell us they would see

the pilot is presumed dead. the other plane landed safely 100 miles away. they are told they knew each other other. the teen that stowed away has been reunited with his father. more than a week ago, the teen hid in the wheel well of a plane bound for hawaii and he survived sub zero temperatures durning that flight. he was going to africa to reunite with his mother but picked the wrong flight. >> a man sitting in jail is now being accused of trying to hire a hit man. >> yeah, good morning.

it does sound unbelievable. but i spoke with a number of golfers off camera who said they knew about p the original allegations but said they were stunned to hear about this same golf instructor tried to hire an alleged hit man to kill the victims. prosecutors say he gave an informant letters for contract killers and those ended up in the hands of contract killers. and they went to the jail and there according to prosecutors he said he wanted the man to quote take care of three alleged victims. he also worked at a number of locations in the south and that investigator who want to the jail told him he was a mechanic
