darkness looking into a homicide, checking out a shooting near the intersection of turk and livermoore streets. officers are also not telling us if they have a suspect or whether they have made any arrests to this point. and blocks away officers spotted a car running down a pedestrian. the car did not stop and they did not catch it since they did not have their cruisers. the victim of the hit and run went to the hospital and is expected to be okay. looking for a man who they say beat up an 89 year old woman and stole her car. it happened sunday night but police released the information. they say she was walking to her car when she was confronted by

the suspect who hit her and knocked her down and then took off in her car. the woman was treated for a broken collarbone and other injuries. investigators say she should be okay. >> officers say the campus will be heavily patrolled after gun f man opened fire in troutdale. the gunman was a student but are not releasing his name right now. he opened fire in the school's gym. despite being wounded, a pe teacher managed to set the school's lock down procedure into motion. >> this is not supposed to happen to any school or some to child but we will get through this together.

lam lamar. torres is also charged with attempted kidnapping of three women in 2009. >> a bay area mother suspected of kidnapping her three children now stands accused of murder. she was found monday morning with her children. the children were not hurt. she is accused of killing her kid's father. he was found shot to death in the backyard of a can pablo home. she had to be super viced when around the children ordered by the court. >> the family told the mercury

news they asked the academy of technology and arts to give mcmath an honary diploma. she underwent surgery in october and was declared brain dead. she is being kept on feeding and breathing tubes. the school's board of trustees will talk about that honary diploma today. >> supporters home to save theater from getting turned down. meanwhile, next week the national park service is expected to put p the theater on
