6:19 am
most part at this time, serving really dry, but over the past couple hours, we had these little spots of grain come in and you see where the bulk of the activity is over the four corners region. as we head throughout the day, we're going continue see the cells make their way in. we're fair game for some very light activity as that area of high pressure actually grows for today. enhanced by additional energy. muggy with stray showers for today, that's going to be the story for tomorrow as well. then hopefully by the end of the week, we'll see that humidity decrease. but this is what we're working with. look at your future cast, i stopped the clock at 2:00 p.m. we're going to see plenty of shower activity which is good news because that's where weft reservoir. as you know, we're in a drought. even if it comes to a quarter inch of rain, it is beneficial for us. we stop the clock 24 hours, 2:00 tomorrow, same deal and the same deal for thursday. by friday, we'll cut off some of the moisture, but overall guys, i can tell you, stst going to be muggy for a while. let's check your drive with our

border. >> reporter: not as of now. it's not on his schedule to make a visit to the border, and that's been a bone of contention with some of his critics who say the president's going down there for fundraisers for democratic fundraisers, but not for the border. this morning we know that the president has a meeting with state leaders while he's down there and invited governor rick perry of texas and asked governor panther troy back him on the emergency funds request, that money would help deal with these children who are spilling over from central america. it would hire more judges, more legal aid, and provide more detention facilities for these children. there's been a lot of talk about this and some action as well. we saw protests here at the white house yesterday from people who do not to want see president obama deport these kids, but the white house is saying they may not be eligible for humanitarian relief. the united nations and others have urged these children who apply as refugees to the united
