occurs. that's compared to only 30% of americans who feel they do an excellent or good job. in louisiana a renewed sense of mistrust by the family of a 22-year-old man who police say died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound while handcuffed in the back seat of a police cruiser back in march. a coroner's report obtained exclusive i feel by nbc news says victor white iii shot nims in the front of his body and declared his death a suicide. the coroner's report contradicts the police department that says he shot himself in the back. the coroner found abrasions on his face, but failed to test white's hands for gun powder residue. the state police department refuses to release the dash cam video or indicate when they expect to wrap up their investigation. the family is deciding on whether they will file a lawsuit. former fbi director louis freehh is in the hospital this morning. he was seriously hurt after a car accident in vermont. state police say freeh's suv went off the road and slammed into a mailbox.

here are stories we're following. republican senator lindsey graham had harsh words for president obama. during a response to the chairman of the joint chiefs saying he would only recommend military action in syria if isis becomes a direct threat to the u.s. homeland. graham tweeted, "the president is becoming derelict in his duties as commander in chief to protect our homeland not aggressively confronting isil wherever they reside, including syria." check this out. during mourning rush hour on i-66 in virginia the lines on the highway suddenly went skwigley, confusing drivers. officials say temporary tape laid down about a week ago peeled off from the highway. crews have since fixed the problem. as a way to combat the growing problem of sexual assault on college campuses, four north carolina state university students have come up with this.
